Good morning all.

We've been grocery shopping in town this morning, and came back loaded up.
It's just starting to snow here now, so we won't be going out again today.

Snooker - watching is our plan for most of the rest of today. There's been some
really great snooker on the last few days.

Hope you are all well and having a pleasant weekend.
There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.

Good afternoon all! It's snowing here, it started around an hour ago but surfaces are wet so it's only sticking on the grass.

It's been payback time here, after all of the lifts we've given Tom over the years. John went out with Lee last night and still wasn't home when Tom got back from work so he texted John to see if he wanted picking up, so off went he and Joe to pick them both up. This morning I was going to walk into town and he said that if I wanted to hang on for 20 minutes I could have a lift :cute:

We've just had lunch and now I fancy going out somewhere but I don't know where. We need to call in and see my parents too but I fancy doing something other than that as well.

Tom's back at dinner time so is eating with us. I'm going out make chicken biryani in the Instant Pot. Tom will need a lift back to Wolverhampton sometime after that (hmmm....payback isn't quite complete).

Hopping that Poll, George and Amy had a good night x

Have a good day all!

It is, and I think that it's still a novelty for him to have a car so it's win-win :D

Evening all :D

So today, I was at work as usual and then when I got back, John was here with D and the kids, putting my 'docking station' for the new Dyson in place. I didn't have a plug point in my understairs cupboard, so John has run one through from the other side of the wall and I now have a double plug point in there, he's also set up the charger thingy so I'm all set! He's been a love this week, he took out my old boiler and blocked up the wall in the garage on Tuesday, feeding the tumble drier hose through the wall also, and then he's been up on the garage roof to seal the flashing - he's a good lad! :D 8-)

When they left, Tom and I drove to a parking spot close to the river in Durham and walked along the river path and into the city, then around the base of the cathedral. We stopped in town for a latte and scrummy lemon cake, and then back - we got back to the car just in time as the sun had gone down, was getting a bit dark. But a gorgeous walk in lovely bright sunshine! 8-) We had to be careful where we walked though as some of the footpaths were like glass, all frozen over.

He's popped up to Newcastle with Amy and Liam (her 'new' boyf) to watch a couple of dog races so I will have a couple of hours peace and he'll pick up a Chinese on the way home. Lovely.

Glad you're home nutty, now you can relax a bit more xx

Have a good evening everyone xx
