Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 22 Jan 2018, 06:04

Good morning.

Forecast for the low 20's - think Don will miss the warmth as he's flying to the UK this morning for a couple of days.

I'm going for a run when he's left for the airport then back to pootle till work 6 - 9. It's exam time. I remember last year's like yesterday! :o

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally, it's wet and cold, but set to warm up a bit, so it could be worse, for Don's trip over ;) Good luck to your students with their exams xxx

No WW meeting for me today, D has the final appointment with the eye consultant this morning, in Cheltenham, so I'm going with her. Then that should be that, as she's delighted with her "new" eyes :D Probably zumba tonight, depending on the weather ;)

Have a good day all :) xxx

Morning :)
In a rush as it's yoga this morning, teacher will have to tell me which exercises to do or not. Back is much better but still twinging.
Then coffee, followed by hospital for bloods.
Have a good day all

Morning all

Safe travels to Don Ally, hope he's packed a few warm jumpers!
Kaz, good luck to D - so pleased she's happy with her new eyes. Really daft question - does she now have 20/20 vision again or did she need glasses before and still does?
Saundra, careful on those pavements if you're heading out
Di, enjoy your yoga and good luck with the bloods

Ususal usual for me - had two really bad nights's sleep so looking forward to an early night tonight - I'm exhausted and the day has hardly started.

Have a lovely day all xx

Good morning.

I think Don's missed the worst of the weather, it is warm(er) and dry(er) than it has been of late! Good news for D, Kaz. I hope the yoga improves your back, Di. Yes saundra, watch out for the pavements, ours were like glass the other day.
Ria, I'm having a dry January and I'm sleeping much better, which I didn't expect. I hope you have a good night's sleep tonight.

Going to do some shopping this afternoon and then maybe getting the back bedroom ready to be painted - deep joy!

Have a good day everyone.

Crommers, I do think that has to do with it - last week and the weekend turned out a lot busier than planned, involving a fair amount of food and wine and I think it just was too much. So tonight I'll definitely be going home and putting feet up with a cuppa and then early to bed

Good morning all. It's fairly mild here after a few days of bitter cold. I'm meeting friends for my exercise class. I haven't been to it for several months but I need to get back to a new routine as quickly as possible. After that we'll go for coffee and than I'll need a trip to Tesco. Lots of paperwork with bank, pensions etc but I'm leaving that to my son Andrew who has been a rock.

Your weather sounds lovely Ally. I should have been in Benalmadena right now for a week's respite break and was going to get in touch with you, but obviously that has been cancelled.

I hope the yoga helps your back Di.

Did D have laser treatment for her eyes Kaz? I'm shortsighted and would love to have 20/20 vision but I'm far too much of a wimp to have laser so I just hang my glasses round my neck.

Morning everyone

Dull and grey again :? It warms up nicely for the afternoon, with lovely blue sky

Glad D is happy with her new eyes Kaz x

Safe journey to D Ally xx and happy shopping for him :D

Good luck with the yoga and bloods Di x Glad your back is better x

Ria, I've not been drinking due to the tablets and I have another week to go, as I have a blood test next Monday. Took 3 nights to get a decent nights sleep and now I'm sleeping like a baby. So much so, we woke up at 9.00 this morning

Hope Suff is okay this morning x

Dentist for me this afternoon and having a tooth out. Not something I've had done for about 50 years    Will have a chat with him about bridge/implant/gap and costings.

Soup for dinner ;) ;) ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, I'm currently sitting in the dentist's waiting room while Joe has a check up. Just had mine done and had the all clear :Hi: Been so nervous too!

Off to Wolverhampton after this to meet Tom and Shannon, and probably Jake too, for lunch. John has another enforced holiday this week.

Joe was supposed to have a driving lesson this evening but Neil's contacted him to cancel this morning as his wife had a heart attack last night :o Really hope she's okay, she's only late 40s.

Ally, Don's picked the right day to come over - it's sunny and mild!

Have a good day all!
