Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 24 Jan 2018, 06:33

Good morning.

Forecast nice again. 8-)

I'm going to walk into town to our sports centre as I've arranged to meet a friend there at 10.30 and we're going for a swim and a sauna. :D :D

Work 6 - 9 and when I get home Don will be back. :cute: :cute:

He's due to land around 7. As it was such a brief trip he'll get the train from the airport and pick the car up from Plaza Mayor and it's only 20 minutes to drive home. :D

Once I've ogled the goodies I asked for  we'll probably nip to Jose's for a beer and a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Very dark, and a very strong wind, with loads of rain forecast.

Welcome back to Don :)
Having my hair cut this morning, then depending on the weather and local traffic reports I may go and look at cookers. Then again tomorrow may be more sensible.
Not being a wuss, these are narrow, winding roads which regularly have trees down, I don't want one on me ;)

Have a good day all

Like Di, we have strong winds and rain.
Doing some shopping this morning and going for a blood test.
Then some more packing for or holiday on Saturday.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Thick fog again

Safe journey to Don x

Leave it until tomorrow Di, you'll feel safer then.

As it's another rubbish weather day, it's another day of finding things to do inside. Might even clean the oven ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everyone. Dry and fairly mild here so we seem to have the best of the weather. I've been organising George's clothes for the charity shop. I think it best to get on with it as the longer I leave it the harder it will be so I'll pop there this morning and then on to the clothes bank. I have a swim/jacuzzi/sauna at lunchtime too Ally. I meet a friend every Wednesday for that although it's been several weeks since I was able to go.

Safe journey home to Don.

Enjoy whatever you get up to today everyone.

Morning all :)

Safe trip home to Don :)

Di we have the same weather, it's been horrendous overnight! Take care if you do go out xx

Liz, not the easiest of jobs ((((x)))) Enjoy your swim later :) xx

Morning Jan, morning Cruiser :)

Well, as I already mentioned, the weather bere is atrocious, the wind and rain battering down all night kept waking us up! The wind has died down a lot now, but it's still wet. Not sure I will bother to go out - it's a rare day when I don't, but I think today might be one of those days! :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's pouring down here and is quite breezy.

We're painting the ensuite at the moment. I'm off to paint the walls in a minute once John's done the ceiling. Joe's got an eye test this afternoon so I'll take him to that.

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, it's a bright morning here, after a very rainy night. Mr Osc doesn't appear to have flu (fingers crossed) but did have a tummy thing last night and says he has a sore throat. He was back and settled in bed before 11pm but neither of us slept very well, as he was still nauseous, and I was aware of every time he moved. So although I am up and dressed, I decided not to go to the gym as I am very tired. He has had some breakfast but is staying in bed for the time being.

I've been online and bought presale tickets for the farewell tour of the Nashville tv show cast - this will be the last season  but I got really good seats, that is in April. I need to go to the post office for money, and also do the supermarket shop at some stage.

Now steady on, Jan......sit down, have a cuppa, take some deep breaths, and this ridiculous notion will soon pass

Morning all

A rather drab and windy day here as well. Di, I also wouldn't head out on those roads today unless you really have to; it's just not worth the risk.
((Liz)), not the easiest job at all :(
Safe travels home to Don; and enjoy ogling the bits and bobs you asked for Ally
Cruiser where is the next trip to? You certainly do get around :D
Kaz, Jan and Osc, enjoy your days and Jo, have fun painting. Osc, hope Mr O feels better soon

Usual / usual for me; although saying that Nadine is at work today so that may well end up in a quick drink after work

Have a lovely day all x

I've been back and forward on Messenger this morning with a chap selling dance shoes from an outlet in Leicester. He has been amazingly helpful (well, I am buying four pairs ;) ) but they are fantastic value so I thought I would stock up as I have been making do with my old ones for quite some time. There is something quite exciting about new dance shoes, sad person that I am :cute: I am so impressed that he is doing all he can with regard to the method of payment as they don't take credit cards.....I will be recommending him to my friends, although not until after I have got the shoes ;)
