Good morning all, it's nice and sunny here. Mr Osc has improved, fingers crossed it is just a mild dose and he doesn't get worse again, although his throat is still sore. He is up watching golf but will pop back to bed if he needs to. We both slept very well last night, and I have decided to take an easy day today as it has been a busy week, that included not going to the gym. Just need to get a few bits in the local shops and otherwise will only do what I feel like doing. I have a couple of cards to write and get in the post too.

That sounds a lot of money :? . Can you find out how much the council will be willing to pay towards and then get some quotes in and hopefully save yourselves some money? Or do you have to go with whoever and whatever the council / social services provide

Yum - what a perfect idea

Morning all :D

Dull but dry here.

U3A is a good idea PP, each area is a little different regarding what activies/groups they offer, but it can be a great way to meet new people. When my stepfather retired and well before health became a problem, he and my mother were members. I remember them enjoying all sorts of outings, holidays and theatre trips. When my stepfather died there was a lot of support for mother, she continued until dementia made participation difficult.

Good luck with SS Lissie, hope it won't be too long before you get a new bathroom. Must say we couldn't manage without our walk in shower, we did it for E but as it's turned out I need it just as much as he does. Always good to future proof as you get older.

Good fun at the quiz last night, there were 7 teams and we came 3rd. Not bad with just 4 of us.

We did all the shopping yesterday so no need to go anywhere today, intending to be very lazy.

Have a good day :D
