Rucksack is packed, chicken drumsticks cooked and trusty bananas are ready....yes, I'm off for a bloomin good long hike!

David reckons it should be about six and a half hours but ours always take longer!

I'll whatsapp Don on our way home and we'll meet him in Jose's for a few well deserved beers.

Morning all. A bit dull and damp here but not actually raining so I'll gird up my loins and stroll into town for a browse. Some housework would also be in order but I'll leave that until a weekday.

Nothing much on here. MrsC is off to see West Yorkshire's most cheerful man (not), her dad and I am off mooching around shops looking for a new coat. Might even go in the local country ports / shooting type shops to see what they have.

A really beautiful morning here and not too cold
I have probably jinxed it now.
Getting excited about tomorrow and meeting the baby at last.
The added bonus is that Alyssa and her boyfriend are coming as well
as Klara and Nathan. I wonder if Laurance (the musician) will make a
surprise appearance.
Must get a move on and go shopping for bits for tomorrow.
Sausages from The Butcher at Brogdale are a must as they are so good.
