Good morning Monday

Postby Diflower » 29 Jan 2018, 07:26

Morning :)
Still dark but it's not raining and not cold.

Had to be up early so I can eat before eight, as I have scans at 11
Need to fit blood tests in, hopefully during waiting time (you have to be there an hour before).
Means missing yoga which is a shame but can't be helped, will have to do some at home.

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning Di and all!

It's just started to rain here, and it's very windy. I've got plenty to occupy me though, starting with a huge pile of ironing after Joe did that endearing teenager trick of tidying up his room by filling the washing basket (and then some!) Thankfully it'd all dried on the line by last night. I've also got to take him to Specsavers to pick up his new glasses this afternoon, and he's having a contact lens trial too.

Best wishes for the scan Di xx

Have a good day all!

Good morning everyone. Damp here but brightening up a bit now. I have my exercise class followed by coffee with a friend then the day is my own. It's about time I knuckled down to doing some housework so I might make a start on that, or I might not. :D

Good luck with the scan Di. I hope it gives positive news.

Oh I remember that teenager thing of tidying up by throwing clean and dirty clothes in the washing basket. Many years ago now as my older teenager will be 50 next month and has a wife to do all that.

Enjoy the day Liz xx

I shouldn't moan about the washing  I frequently used to get in from work, change out of my uniform into jeans and a top and then get changed again to go out - the jeans and top would go in the wash despite being worn for less than an hour. I only found out a few years ago that my Mom used to quickly remove them from the washing basket, fold them neatly as if freshly washed and ironed and the next day put them back in my room. I always thought that she was just incredibly efficient rather than devious :P

Several pairs of Tom's shoes (which he takes off and leaves wherever he happens to be standing) ended up in the middle of the road one time.

Morning all, a bit windy today but warm(ish)... meant to cool down quite a bit in the course of the day though

good luck with the hospital appointment Di and hope they can fit the bloods in between during the waiting time x
Liz, Jo and Saundra, enjoy your respective days - housework or not :D
Saundra, one day I came home to find my mom had put most of my toys out on the street because I never put them away; the neighbour kids were walking off with them. Sadly it never really did change my rather untidy inner me  .

Usual / usual for me today, but need to do some sorting of papers at home tonight

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all, it is bright and sunny here and doesn't seem too cold. Gym this morning and maybe a cuppa with some of the ladies afterwards. H/work this afternoon although I did finish the ironing yesterday :cute: I was asked yesterday to judge another Strictly charity evening in July, the same person who asked me the last time. This time it is very personal for her, she has a little Down syndrome nephew and is putting it on in aid of the local Down syndrome organisation. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning everyone

More clouds than blue sky and a little windy

Had a very relaxing morning reading in bed, with coffee, Grumpy and a cat    Not been sleeping and feeling a little rough around the edges, so taking it easy today.

Hope the scan and bloods went okay Di xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
