Morning all,

I'm back to work in London. Found an AirBnB on the A2, not too far from Bermondsey. Would have been great last year for South Quay but I'm at Temple this year.

The old car is gone. The replacement car is still in process of being sorted out. I need to head back to France to get at my tools to fix the worst of it. What has really annoyed me is that one of the brand new £100 tyres on my 807 had to be left there because the garage chewed the security stud the last time they worked on it. Irritating. The replacement car doesn't have any security nuts (thank god).

I arrived on Tuesday and finished the day with a cold. Yesterday the cold got worse. Today I'm going to work from the apartment, I have the equipment and access so I'm not feeling guilty.

Looking forward to the weekend and finally shaking this cold.

Have a great day all. I'm heading back to bed as soon as I have my Android emulator on my Laptop and see if I can access my work mail/etc with it.

Morning. It is cold here, we could do with a bit of 20c. Good luck with the finding a new car Suff. I'm going to have to do the same soon. Enjoy craft Di. You do need the company of others, it's the thing I miss most about working.

Slow day here today but we are eating out this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally how did you get on with the new hairdresser?

Di, have fun at craft, and catching up with people thetre :D

Working from home sounds sensible Suff :)

Morning Crommers, that's very true, and until I made new friends here I missed my workmates xxx

The sun is out here, a lovely bright day! Walking into town shortly, D needs some ribbon for the baby stuff she's knitting, so I'll go to the indoor market for that, then drop it up to her :) No pilates tonight, E is still feeling sore and a bit groggy after having a tooth out yesterday. We can catch up with an extra lesson next week!

Have a good day all xxx

Good morning all - and a happy new month !

It's dry and sunny here now. I will be off to the doctors soon, to have my blood coagulation checked.
This is becoming a weekly event lately, as I am on ever-increasing doses of painkillers for arthritis in
my arms and hands - due to old age, no doubt.

Hope you are all O.K Have a nice day..

Good morning all!

I woke at 6 to walk Billy and it was raining but he's had his walk since then while the sun shone. It's a bit showery now but still very bright, there's a bitterly cold wind though.

Housework to do once I've dried my hair. Joe's in college this afternoon and then there's food shopping to do tonight.

I really need to get my act together re Tom's birthday, he's 21 next Friday and I haven't a clue what to get him. He's having money for travelling for his main present but he needs something to open on the day. I've also got to think of something for Eve too, she's 21 on Tuesday.

Have a good day all!

Morning all - such a gorgeous sunny morning; I'd so love to be home and pootling in the garden vs sitting in the office.

Good luck to the students Ally, bet they're glad this is the last exam.
Suff, good idea to work from home - hope you feel better soon
Aggers, I'd love to be as fit and active as you are at your age. Good luck with the blood test

Di, Crommers, Kaz and Jo, enjoy your days. Jo, what are their interests - would they be interested in something like an Echo Dot?

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to

Morning all :D

Quite bright here today.

Weekly shop for us, M&S and then Tesco. Don't really need too much, mainly fresh stuff and Sunday dinner. I've been having the heavy things delivered.

Have a good day :D

Jo, if we gave money for something like travelling we always gave a smaller present in the same vein. Like something which would make the travelling easier. Zillions of little nick nacks which are essential for travelling but which cost a fortune the first time you realise you need them when you get there.
