Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 03 Feb 2018, 06:24

Good morning. :D

Forecast nice again. 8-) 8-)

I've got a teaching conference in Malaga (same as this day last year. Dead posh hotel, yummy food and great freebies  ) from 9 - 2. :D

I'll then walk the couple of minutes from the hotel to a bar to meet up with Don, Toni & Pete and we'll then head off to Morriseys Irish Bar to watch the Six Nations rugby. Wales v Scotland :o then we'll have a bite to eat then it's France v Ireland. With Don and Toni's Irish ancestry and my Scottishness  it will be a hoot... and to top it all Conor's joining us.

Looking forward to it. :P :P :P

Have a great day everyone.

Hope you're feeling better Jan. xx

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Still a bit dark, dry at the moment but a wet day forecast.

Ally that's fun, if you like rugby :)

Bb will be working, depending on weather either I will go to w/rose or he will go on the way home.
It's a shame but this town is not enjoyable for a wander in bad weather, having only individual shops.

Yes, hope you're feeling better Jan, it sounds a bit miserable x

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Di, Ally and all!

We've got sleet at the moment, looking at the forecast we've got that and rain pretty much all day. I've got to take Joe to Specsavers shortly, his contact lens trial comes to an end today and he wants to continue using them. I also need to take him shoe shopping. Apart from that we're also waiting for an Amazon delivery.

Hope that Jan's feeling better.

Kaz, how's Chris?

Have a good day all!

Morning. That sounds like a nice hotel Ally. Yes, get well soon Jan.

Di, where d you live? Jo, it looks like we're in for rain all day too.

Going to Huddersfield soon to put some holes in paper targets, then I think it's tv sport.

Have a good day all.

Good Morning all although there is nothing good about it--drizzling and very cold.
Hoe you feel better Jan and also all who are suffering.
I am waiting for a delivery. I have treated myself to a real leather skirt.
I love leather and used to wear a lot of it when i was younger and better off :D
I bought two imitation leather skirts but they don`t hang right and look false.
I saw this one on La Redoute at Christmas and it was £99 ish. Looked this week
and it was reduced to £49 so as Don had given me £50 for Xmas to treat myself
i thought i would send for it. I chose the Burgundy colour for a change.
I just hope it will fit but i can always send it back free of charge.
Have a good day and stay warm.
Sainsburys are giving extra Nectar points this weekend on sales of £10 and over.
I got 2000 yesterday so that is £10. I will try again today as you can get up to £25.

Morning everyone

Lovely and sunny but cold - and will getting colder next week  As 8C during the and -3 at night :? :?

I am feeling a little better thank you. Last nights dinner and this mornings breakfast have both stayed down  but my tum is still doing a jitterbug, not quite as bad as it has been, but we're getting there. Still high temp, then shivering, but it's only day 3 ;)

I'm going to be a couch potato and red and doze.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Oh in your pretty new dress Kaz? Have a lovely time x

Lissie your skirt sounds fab, hope it fits nicely :)

You're right Kaz, every Saturday
My back's hurting today anyway so Bb is going to get the shopping.
Tomorrow's supposed to be better (although cold and windy) so we'll think about dinner then and go out for any other food.

Amazon due here too, new salt and pepper grinders :D
Bought just a pepper one a couple of years ago from w/rose, and three replacements later(!) I gave up and got one from a charity shop but it's never been very good...
Ignore me rambling on :D

Ps Cromwell we're in the New Forest, Lymington.
We're often shielded from the worst of the weather by the Isle of Wight, but it doesn't always work :)

Good morning all.

It's cold, dull and drizzly here, and we didn't exactly enjoy our trip into town this morning.

I've just ordered a bedroom chair from Amazon, but I'm getting a bit fed up with their methods.
On several occasions they have added on a delivery charge when the article concerned was said
to be free delivery. Also I ordered a book costing several pounds, but it arrived with a sticker on
the back that stated "I'm recycled", and the price given as 99p., as if from a charity shop. I think
I might stop using them.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.
