Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 04 Feb 2018, 06:26

Good morning.

Forecast nice again. 8-) 8-)

We all had an absolutely fabulous day yesterday. The conference was excellent and I met Don, Toni and Pete at 2.30. As we were at the cathedral we met Amanda (my lovely work colleague who had also been at the conference) and her hubby Jesse and invited them to join us in Morriseys.

It turned out Jesse had also got the bus into Malaga to meet Amanda and he'd actually been sitting next to Pete on the bus!

Anyway, join us they did...and had such a great time, instead of them getting the bus home they booked a hotel room for the night to spend more time with us!

Today the 4 of us are off to Torremolinos. A good long walk along the coast then lunch somewhere.

Then into Mulligans (there's a theme here  ) to watch the Italy-England rugby game. :D

Back at some point to have a nightcap or two in Jose's.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Much nicer here today, bright and breezy :)

Ally that sounds fabulous, what a lovely day you had - and leading colleague astray too :D

We might get out somewhere since it's nice, we sorted dinner yesterday so no need for shopping.
And there will be bacon baguettes for brunch :)

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Sunny and cloudy here - we had some rain earlier :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Always good to lead some-one astray, in a nice way Ally xx Have a great time today.

Well, stupid, grey haired old biddy that I am, I somehow managed to take 3 extra anti-b's, instead of paracetamol    In my defence, they look the same, the same shape and I just obviously put the anti-b's in the paracetamol box and being without me gogs.........................

Rang the health helpline last night and explained. She went through everything and said I wasn't to worry about it tonight but to go to the centre de saude tomorrow morning and she'd fax through my details and concerns. And not to take any more until I see the doc

Just waiting for Grumpy to get showered and we'll head out.

Then back to see what the day brings. More rain hopefully 8-) 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I hope you get your rain Jan. Bacon brunch sounds good Di. :D Your day sounds lovely Ally (so does yesterday!).

Going out soon. Roast beef for dinner. I've just been chatting on Facebook to someone I haven't seen for 30 odd years; he's in Thailand now. Modern communications really are a thing of wonder.

Have a good day all.

Oh no Jan, not the start to a Sunday you were hoping for :( hope the doc says all OK today- which I'm sure s/he will.

Ally that sounds like a fab day yesterday; such fun. Enjoy the rugby game today.
Di, hope you do get out - it's lovely and sunny here as well, albeit a with a bit of a nippy wind
Crommers it's fab isnit it? I've caught up with quite a few people I was at school with years ago, all via FB and it's been such fun catching up

Well a bit of housework for me today then heading out to the local RSPCA to drop off some news papers and two outdoor cat shelters my cats don't use. Then some shopping and maybe popping by Karl and Nadine - depending on what their plans are (no doubt it will involve the TV on and rugby :D)

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all!

Ally that all sounds lots of fun :D

Jan, goodness me  I'm sure all will be well though (((x)))

Hope you do manage to enjoy the lovely weather :) It's dull here, but dry at least ;)

Crommers, technology definitely has its uses :D

Have a fab day Ria :D

We are having a quiet day, in fact I think I'll grab a couple of fresh pizzas when we nip to Sainsbury's for the newspapers ;) Too tired to cook properly today, as we had quite a night! I drank rather too much pinot, and as I rarely drink these days I am paying for it

The party was lovely! The Beacon pub is right out in the sticks, up country lanes, so despite Mick insisting he'd been there several times, and didn't need the satnag we didn't find it until B got directions up on her phone :cute: :ugeek:

Dave was suitably shocked and overwhelmed when he and Em wa!ked in to all us lot yelling "Surprise!" and pulling party poppers 8-) It was great to meet up with the people we already knew, and get to know some we didn't :) We got home well after 1am :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all!

It's dry here after a day of non-stop rain yesterday.

Billy's had his walk and John's out on his bike. I've asked him to get home a bit earlier today though as we must go into Birmingham for presents for Tom and Eve. I'll have a mooch in Waterstones for Eve as she loves books, might end up with a voucher and a gift. Something I thought of for Tom was a really good suitcase.

Kaz, it sounds like a really lovely night out!

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, it's clearing up nicely here after a fair amount of rain overnight. We got up very late for no particular reason - I turned on the radio at 8am and promptly fell back asleep until 9am, Mr Osc was fast asleep then, so we didn't get up until after 9.30am. No plan for the day although I really must do some ironing. Good stuff on tv tonight.

Morning all........almost

It's been very wet and dull here, but the sun's just come out, wonder if it will last.

Gosh Jan, I'm sure the doctor will sort you out.

A lazy day for us again, I'll be cooking roast chicken for dinner later and that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Only in Portugal

Get to the clinic, no problem, receptionist aware of what I'd done  as was the nurse   The nurse wanted to check my bp as it was a little high last time, spot on this :Hi: :Hi:

And a kilo weight loss since Wednesday    because I've been eating the smallest amount, to make sure they stay down.

A long wait, as the lady before me was in for an hour

Then some cheeky person just waltzed pas t us all and went in    Maxine, who I was chatting with went up to the receptionist and complained, but it really was up to Dra Julia.

So we waited some more.

Anyway, infection almost gone, stop the anti-b's and one sachet of this powder for the next two days. If I'm still worried about anything, see Dr Paulo on his open afternoon or hers.

A lovely lady :D :D

Popped into Pingo, trying to find things to tempt me to eat, so I got a bag of Haribo funky mix      (and other stuff ;) )

Blowing a bit of a hooley and that wind is cold. we'll be lighting one of the fires soon and hunkering down.
