Gone grey here too now Jo.

I felt a lot better by about ten so went and had coffee with the craft ladies, then collected my drugs that weren't there yesterday.
Back home and feeling in the way now, but yes Ria at least I'm here to answer any questions.
She will normally be coming on Monday mornings, when I'm out anyway.

We managed 5 barrow loads of grass - couch grass? - before the wind and backache stopped us. In saying that, Grumpy did most 8-) 8-)

But the "lawn" looks a lot better now :Hi: :Hi:

Still more to do though

Evening all, it was far less cold today but there were bouts of drizzly rain. Usual Thursday childminding, both children were in good form although for some reason I felt rather tired all day. I made a batch of soup, Kellie and I had some for lunch and I'll use it up over the next couple of days. We are watching golf from Pebble Beach in California - cloudless blue skies and magnificent scenery. Earlier we were watching Michael Portillo in San Francisco and remembering our trip there almost 21 years ago - I do love his rail journey programmes.

Osc, we watched Michael Portillo too - made us think that we need to revisit San Francisco. It's one place in the US that I wasn't especially taken with but I'm willing to give it a second chance, John loved it there though.
Really enjoy these programmes!
