Good morning all, it's raining here.

Off to Lichfield shortly to get Joe's passport photo taken for a renewal, there's a Max Spielman there which takes them. Apart from that we'll see how the day goes as to what else we do.

Not sure what I'll be doing - Sainsbury at some point and cleaning and I think something nice for dinner but that's about it. Tomorrow I'm meeting up with friends I haven't seen in absolute years; I'm determined to make 2018 the year to catch up with lots of people not seen for ages so starting to work through the list

Just watching first dose of the olympics, it's women playing ice hockey. Not specially interested but hoping they will tell me what's on when

Bb will be working but not for too long, and probably call in at w/rose on his way home.
I like not having to think about Saturday dinner - if it's Saturday it's pizza

We're off to an Italian restaurant tonight with some friends.

Meeting in la plaza first for a couple of beers.

Taking MrsC to her dads this morning. She's on her own as her sister was out on the razz last night and is feeling a bit rough this morning. I was going to go to the target shooting club at Huddersfield today but it is raining again and it was sodden and muddy there last week, so goodness knows what state the ground is in by now.

Crommers, I've just squelched my way across our lawn. It's been a few years since it was that waterlogged

Morning all, lots of rain overnight, it's quite bright now but there is lots more rain forecast. I feel as if I might have a dose of something coming on, so intend to do very little today and will pop off to bed for a snooze if I want to as I woke lots of times during the night. This day 50 years ago, Mr Osc and I starting officially "going out" - I just said to him now that little did we think that 50 years on, we would have been married for almost 46 years and still very happy together. When you are 18, you don't imagine ever being 50 years older
