I'm off for a quick run shortly then back to get showered etc and walking into town to meet a friend for coffee and a bacon pitufo.

Work 6 - 9 then home to the final of the John Simm drama and a chicken stir fry from my resident chef.

The car is frozen over - cold again.Our daughter has been let down for dog sitting so we're off up there about 9.00am. MrsC is meeting her sister and a friend for coffee and I'm going out tonight.

Cloudy again and think we'll struggle up to 15C later.

Up early ish as we have gravel being delivered today. No idea when and Grumpy has to make sure he puts it in the right place

Depending on what time that arrives will depend on if I go to Pingo on my own or Grumpy comes with me.

Dinner tonight is whatever I can get in the supermarket - the fridges are bare

I am meant to be collecting a friend to go out for coffee this morning but she was having trouble with her back yesterday so is going to let me know how it is once she's up and moved around a bit.

Just watching some figure skating

Oh Valentine's day. We don't do cards or presents but have a nice dinner planned

Happy Valentines Day Mick bought me lovely flowers, I bought him a mug with Amazing Husband on it, just because

Pepper is a lot better, have updated on Pets, and TBH that is the best present we could have had

Going to the Quays for coffee with my friend A, not seen her since before Christmas so it will be lovely to catch up

Morning all, it's miserable here - damp, dreary, cold and very windy. I've been out to get some money and will go to the gym shortly. Then it's off to do the supermarket run. So just an ordinary Wednesday. We don't bother with Valentine's Day apart from exchanging verbal good wishes.

Afternoon all

Lots of romance here Saundra, we always exchange cards. No flowers this year though, hopefully I'll be in hospital tomorrow for a few days so wouldn't have had much time to enjoy them. Bought a nice dinner from M&S for tonight.

Definitely feeling a bit nervous today, lots of mixed emotions, worried about having the operation, worried it will get cancelled again and I'm sent home. Talking to the nurses on Monday, it's definitely pot luck. Just hoping I'm early on the list, figure if an emergency does come in they are less likely to run out of time for mine. Keeping very busy today, washing's on the go and I'm about to get all my stuff ready. Panic, panic.........
