Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 17 Feb 2018, 06:26

Good morning.

It's felt like summer the past few days and with 23 degrees forecast today another nice one is on the cards. 8-) 8-)

We're going to park up at plaza mayor and walk right along the coast to Benalmadena port. Roughly 18kms so a cold drink stop will be involved.

Meeting friends tonight for a birthday meal in the Thai restaurant...yummy. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
A beautiful one again, clear blue sky and frosty cars - and bonus, no wind!

That's a lovely walk Ally, I love it when I can picture where you're going :)

Actually, that's about the same distance as it was from Bb's flat to Bournemouth pier and back, which I used to do quite regularly. Other days would be the shorter version, Boscombe pier and back.
I have to say, the views are comparable too :)

Well, unusually Bb is not working today, we have a fair sized shopping list - we never do a weekly shop, just as and when - so will both go to w/rose.
Other than that whatever we like :)

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Cloudy this morning, supposed to be hot and sunny

Been out and sprayed over the weeds where we want the rest of the gravel to go. That'll take a couple of days to kill 'em off, then we can scrape off the excess and gravel.

Will be weeding later - back-breaking that is   I made the mistake of putting the horse manure on the flower beds and now all the grass the horses ate is coming through

Enjoy your walk Ally x i love Waitrose Di :D

Off to Aldeia dos Palheiros (village of two haystacks   ) tonight, for wild boar and hare. Was superb last time we had it, looking forward to it again. The normal motley crew, us, Antonia, Pieter, Dimas, Mario, Jose Antonia and Heldar.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I wish we had a Waitrose near us Di. 18km Ally?

Village with two Haystacks is as mad as Thornton-Le-Beans!

Not much on here, another grey day but not freezing or blowing a gale which is always a plus.

MrsC to her Dad's shortly. I have a bit of shore leave so I'll be mooching around this morning.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Ally, that walk sounds fab, as does your "old" one Di :D

Have a good day Jan, give those weeds hell 8-)

Enjoy your quiet mooch Crommers ;)

Well despite us having a lovely sunny forecast for today, it's overcast here and set to rain by 12. I think it's the law that it rains in Gloucester on Saturdays :cute:

Me and him are out for brunch and a mooch shortly, then up to see D. B is off work but has a headache and has opted to stay in with the pups.

Have a good 'un :) xxx

A beautiful day here and washing machine on.
I feel a bit better today so will go out shopping (that IBS really upsets
me and makes me feel awful)
Just seen the crocuses are in bloom in the pots on the patio so that is
a sign of Spring on the way i hope.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, we were forecast sun but instead it's raining.

Thankfully I'd walked Billy before it started, just about; I felt the first couple of drops as we walked around the corner to home.

Joe's gone into college to help out at an open day and Tom's off to work shortly. I fancy a mooch somewhere this afternoon. I see that 'mooch' seems to be the word of the day on here today

Have a good one all!

Bright and sunny here

No plans, did the main washing, bedding etc on Wednesday (in preparation for going into hospital!!) so just a few bits to do. Intend to be extremely lazy today.

Have a good day :D

We have been for a lovely walk in the park with Minnie :)
Timed perfectly as the sun has gone now, it was beautiful :)

Very fortunate here to have this wonderful park on our doorstep. I can't remember the size but it's huge - 3 full sized playing fields, tennis courts and croquet pitch, a huge field, enormous 'normal' park with trees, flower beds, benches, meandering paths, fairy grotto with little doors in trees...I can't imagine how many hundreds of hours we have spent in there :)

The day started off lovely and sunny, but has clouded over now. Been busy doing bits and bobs and will tackle some ironing in a while, first I think I will go for a walk around the block. No other plans for today or tomorrow.
