Good morning Monday

Postby Diflower » 19 Feb 2018, 08:00

Morning :)
Dull, grey and damp out there, don't think it's going to improve either.

Yoga this morning, followed by coffee - and no blood test! :D
Back to a nice clean house as it's cleaner day :)

Hope your days go well

Good morning Di and anybody else who is up and awake.
Dull and light rain this morning. Going shopping this morning.
Out dancing this evening. May have a lazy afternoon.
Think we have got over our jet lag. Were only getting home this time last week after our flight from Newark.

Morning Di, Cruiser and everyone

Anther dull start, but always seems to really brighten up later 8-)

:Hi: :Hi: :Hi: to no blood test Di :Hi: :Hi:

Busy morning, need to get into Ourique, collect repeat prescription, also blood test results, see Paulo about if they're going to clean the engine today or tomorrow, pay for the gravel and then back home to clean the inside of the car and check it over.

Yes, MOT tomorrow  We have a slight oil leak that won't be fixed until oil and filter change which is quite a few miles away and as we know they'll fail us, or at least give us an aviso about the leak, Paulo is going to give the engine a clean before we go

Stew for dinner and footie tonight :D :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It was such a glorious day yesterday that i left all the washing out
as i thought it would dry overnight.
How wrong can you get---it has poured with rain and is a yucky day.
M&S and Aldis and Home Bargains this morning.
We have accepted the fact that we will have to pay for the Wet Room
ourselves so i am going to buy some nice bits for it--mirror, shelves etc
as the builder said he will put them all up for us. Hoping that the work
will be started before the end of March--fingers crossed.
Have a good day.

Morning all :)

Di your morning sounds good, especially the coming home to a clean house :D 8-) ;)

Welcome back Cruiser :)

Lissie, my ex has had a wet room put in, Harry loves it :D

Hope you get all that done Jan :)

Saundra, it's wet and dull here too  Hope you find some decent lightbulbs, the new ones are useless IMO :?

Well it's Monday, so it must be WW  Need to get back on the scales, we've been so very busy at the till and shop the last couple of weeks that I haven't had a chance to jump on. As a gold member I don't have to weigh in weekly, but need to get on now and again to make sure I'm maintaining, so fingers crossed  ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here.

Got woken up by the phone at 8 this morning. It was the hospital, apparently I have a UTI, why it's taken them a week to look at the results of last Monday's pre op is anyone's guess  Anyway they've e-mailed my GP and said to ring them so I can get a course of antibiotics asap. Easier said than done, getting through to my surgery takes absolutely ages, managed in the end and after a bit of faffing I have to pop in there at 11.45 to see the nurse practitioner. Totally fed up, the op can't go ahead until I'm in the clear so it's definitely not happening this week. Could be touch and go for next week too......... Oh and I mentioned my arm, the nurse who called knew who had done it immediately, obviously I'm not the first, honestly makes you wonder why they let her continue

Have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's foggy and raining here.

I'd been waiting for an Amazon parcel which was delivered just before 10. There's housework to do, Joe's on half term this week but is off to Stafford when he gets up to get himself some clothes. He had his first day at work yesterday, a 6 hour shift, and seemed to enjoy it. He's also decided to give being vegetarian are try for a month which is a challenge for me when it comes to making dinner

We went out last night. A micropub opened in Cannock a year or so back so we decided to walk down and give it a try. John really liked whichever ale if was he had and I tried rhubarb cider...could drink it like pop! It was gorgeous! We'll definitely be going back there soon.

Jen, why the delay? Surely getting you started on antibiotics should've been done immediately! It doesn't inspire confidence does it, and neither does the fact that they know about the nurse!

Have a good day all!
