It drizzled last night for a whole hour! That's really made a difference to the reservoir levels..not!

Forecast sunny and cloudy today and rain promised from tomorrow.

Off for a walk shortly then back to google recipes on what to do with a zillion oranges and a zillion lemons. Our trees have gone mental this year.

Might pop out for a few beers tonight as it's a festival here tomorrow.

Good morning all, we had a covering of snow overnight and it started coming down again when I was out with Billy. The sun's shining now but it's just started snowing lightly again.

Joe's in college all day, John's in work and I'm supervising the men extending our drive. Really wish John was here as I hate anything like this, he's already phoned once and asked me to go out and ask them to make sure they do...something or another I feel like I'm going out and telling them how to do their job. Normally he'd have booked the day off but thanks to his boss and his ridiculous idea of them taking all of their 2018 holiday last month he's got no days left to be able to do that

Hoping that Pepper's doing better today xx

Morning all

A very nippy morning again, -6 when I got in the car. But the roads are very very dry and not icy at all so it's actually quite pleasant. There is talk of more snow this afternoon but we'll see - somehow I don't think I'll get a 'snow day' off oh well

Di, good luck with the hospital appointment - hope your pain is subsiding x

Jo, don't look at it as you telling them their job, you're the client - all you're doing is telling them what you want
Crommers and Jan, enjoy your respective days
Ally - marmelade, lemonade, lemon curd. You can also grate the zest of both and freeze it as well as squeeze the juice out and freeze that for future use (1 ice cube size apparently is 1 tablepoon of juice). You'll just have to have the most ginormous freezer though

Usual usual for me - monitoring the trains in case there is more snow, but suspect it'll be regular home time

It will be a stay at home day today as there is no way i can get out.
We have about 4" of snow and still coming down.
Our road does`nt get treated so getting the car out is a no no.
A bit unusual this amount of snow down south.
