Do you have travel insurance Osc? Because that should cover the cost of the hotel if the flight is cancelled and the hotel won't refund.

I'm not sure what to cross fingers for, for tomorrow - flight cancelled and the matter resolves itself or you get to go and still have a lovely time away; golf or no golf for the boys - suspect you'd be happier with the outbound flight being cancelled?

Just started snowing here, the sky is a very funny light and I think this might be the heaviest fall that we've had thus far.

We've only had a couple of snow flurries down her;, the first during the afternoon didn't stick, the second, around 6:00, has left us with a smattering on the ground, hardly anything at all really.

They are forecasting that we may see some snow Thursday afternoon into Friday, but it doesn't seem to be anything too apocalyptic. We'll see .....

Yes we do have travel insurance, but SIL booked the hotel (we gave him the money) and I don’t think they are covered for weather. They are not as meticulous about buying insurance as we are - sometimes I wonder if she is really our daughter The alarm is set for 6am, we will check roads, airport and flight status and take it from there. Not much snow so far, our flight is supposed to depart at 10.05, we might be lucky.
