Go away! :D

Actually the fix was as simple as Ctrl+Win key+C. It is a toggle from Access Centre for those of us who are not colour perfect. I must have used it at some time and when W10 updated it picked it up and reset it.

In my early IT days that was my standard response “have you tried restarting “ and to be a bit nicer “just check that the cleaners haven’t switched it off at the wall”

They started to get wise and would ring and say “hello and yes I’ve already restarted “. Bugger thought I, now i really do need to troubleshoot.

Kaz, it took you three hours and ten minutes to come up with your 'fix' for a two minute job, just like real IT people.

Sorry Crommers. only jesting. ;) :P

No offence taken. :D
I used to work with a bloke called Mal. He was on the help desk one night when a really stroppy user rang up. This gentleman had spilled a big cup of coffee over his keyboard and was having problems.
Eventually after having no luck with his advice and having his ear bent by Mr Stroppy, Mal says "Have you tried putting the keyboard in a bucket of water?".
" What bloody good is that going to do?" says Stroppo.
"As much good as spilling a load of bloody coffee over it!" says Mal, and hangs up.

Ah Crommers, I'm a bit more sarcastic than that. I would have told the user, after half an hour of very patiently ignoring the stop, that they could just have swapped the keyboard with the one next to them... Before quietly putting the phone down..
