I used to say the same lissie as my bill couldn't even switch the washer on
what is it with older generation of men it wasn't that Bill couldn't he wouldn't I'm glad my boys can both help there wives with the home and everything else

The trouble is Saundra that all the strokes he has had have muddled his brain so much that he cannot
remember how to do things. He can`t read or add up and if he is asked for his birth date he looks at me to tell them.
It upsets me so much to see him like this as he was such a go getter in the past and could do anything.

Lissie I quite understand that it's awfull to watch your partner /husband be affected by strokes my brother was the same it was a general observation of older generation fellas I didn't mean to offend

So sorry you're having such a tough time Lissie, getting older definitely is challenging, especially when one of you is poorly. I do know how you feel, poor E is having to do so much for me right now, some things that are really too much for him. Luckily he's always helped round the house, but he has absolutely no idea about our financial stuff, online banking etc. I deal with it all and do worry how he would cope if I wasn't able to do it.

Nothing much happening here, got the washing on, but that's about it.
