Scammers.

They are persistent, I'll give them that. :|

I had a call this morning from "TalkTalk" to tell me that my Internet was being cut off. To do this press 1, to do that press 2. It was an auto call so I just hung up.

I then phoned the real TalkTalk to report it and it was confirmed as a scam with many thanks and could they offer me Callsafe to scan my incoming calls.

"No thanks" says I "I enjoy winding them up and keeping them on the line for ages while I make a cuppa or get into a deep and meaningful conversation about the Universe and God."

I know that I shouldn't, but it is them calling me not the other war round. ;)

Just to let you know that they are out there and active, esp if you are with TalkTalk.

I get them from TalkTalk as well saying they are going to cut my internet connection if I do not respond.
Was with them several years ago but changed when I got a better deal.
Just listen for a couple of minutes and then put the phone down.

I keep getting telephone calls from someone who says they are from B.T., and that I have a problem with my computer that they can put right for me.
I have no problem, and even if I had I wouldn't give anyone a chance to get access to my computer, so I hang up without saying anything.
There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.

My mum strings them along then says she needs to hang up to dial up the internet. Lol they aren’t so keen on fixing her computer after that.
Everything happens for a reason
