Did you get the info/telephone call you were waiting for from Speccies? Not sure if you saw my post on Saturday's thread about the pricing structure of contacts....anyway, hopefully all is ok now x

Hi Gal, thanks I'd missed your post on Saturday.
Yes, that's how it works. The contact lens lady called me and said that they take the payment monthly rather than take the £75 in one hit for three months worth of lenses (he has dailies) so he'll get a delivery to last him another three months in a couple of weeks.

I was starting to worry because we've had a couple of instances over the last year or two of companies reverting to using our old address (even though they'd been using our 'new' one for years) and wondered if for some glitchy reason the people who bought our house were getting contact lenses delivered on top of the bank cards they've already had!

Thanks Gal, he's much happier with lenses than glasses. He'd rarely use his glasses, just really for driving lessons or at the football but with his contacts he's putting them in whenever he's going out.

* Just realised that I don't need to carry his glasses to the match this afternoon :lol:
