.... one of they new-fangled 10p coins with a letter of the alphabet on it yet?

I did enquire in the bank in Shaftesbury, but they just laughed and said it'll be ages before they reach Dorset.

We still work on the system that 8 groats = 4 organic pork sausages = 2 legs of lamb = 1 large flagon of yer Uncle's home-made scrumpy down 'ere .... :mrgreen:

My father used to get diaries which had the old system of measurements including rods poles and perches.
