Good morning all, it's quite dull and still very breezy here.

Mother in law is currently pootling down the M5 back to South Wales. Phew!
Joe's up bright and early as John woke him for college at 7...and it's his day off He's got a driving lesson just after lunch though.
Billy's had a long walk so now we're back relaxing.

Kaz, that's shocking! I hope that they can locate some for you

Di, ice cream is something I've never been all that bothered about but John would happily sit there with a tub and a spoon

Lissie, I've woken with really itchy eyes this morning. I've been expecting it though as the catkins are full of pollen at the moment.

Di I don't often eat it straight from the tub but if it's Haagen Dazs then I do!! Salted caramel or pralines and cream is my fav, or strawberry cheesecake at a push - there are quite a few flavours I like

Lovely here now after a grey start - it's a bit windy but it's a lot better than this time last week!!! I even left my winter coat at home and I'm wearing my lightweight mac to work - wow!!!

Kaz that's unbelievable re your prescription!! What's the problem getting it, if you've been prescribed it?? Sheesh!!

Working today.....no clinic, sadly our lovely lady Optom, Anne, who we work with on Wednesdays, lost her mum last week and she won't be at work until at least May 21st. I'm quite worried about her actually, we had a collection and I arranged for her to be sent flowers and a card from us all at work, but she hasn't acknowledged them, which is most unlike her. There's just her and her mum at home, so she will be a big miss

Such a lovely lovely sunny day here - I'd give my eye teeth to be home in the garden; sigh. But hopefully will get a 1/2 hour when I get home to just sit and enjoy

The dentist was fine.

He hit the suspect tooth with a little hammer, saying, "'Did that hurt?". I said, "No".
"Then there's no need to take it out" he said. Problem solved.
It seems that the antibiotics that he had prescribed on my previous visit had done the trick.
I am so glad.

Gal I hate anything salted that should be sweet, all this salted caramel etc does nothing for me - good job we're all different
