Morning all - a beautiful sunny start to the day and let's just hope it stays that way

A quick pootle about then collecting Gill from the station - she's arriving later than expected (only 12h45) and then we have a nail appointment after; so not much chance to get much done outside. Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Saundra, hope you find the clothes prop - do they still make them? You may have to look online for one

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Wet. Very. Thunderstorm wet

Enjoy the time with your friend Ria xx

Saundra, Grumpy made me a clothes prop, but the wind is so strong, it kept blowing it over

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, and a beautiful one it is too. I need to get my skates on and get down to the garden centre to get more gravel.

Hope you manage to get a clothes prop Saundra and enjoy meeting up Ria.

Baby admiring later on and maybe taking enthusiastic dog for a walk.

Have a good one!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Z, M and the boys are due later, they're taking us over the road to The Greyhound for a post birthday lunch. They're coming by train, not sure what's wrong with the car, they'll catch a bus to the harbour and then have a bit of time at the beach before walking along the seafront to us. Makes sense for them to enjoy the lovely weather.

Think E's going to uncover the garden furniture, it will be nice to sit out there today.

Have a good day :D

Glad you're having a visit Jen, you must have been missing them x

Dull here now.
Big excitement all morning, when Bb left for work a little dog was trotting up and down the road.
Sweet little Yorkie, no collar but a pretty pink hairclip.
He was worried it would get hit, so brought it in and walked/drove round the roads asking everyone he saw, listening out for someone calling...nothing.

So he left her with me
I called the police on 101, who can't do anything, but if someone called could tell them where it was.
I knocked on doors, telling everyone where she was.
Next took her up to our vet who scanned her and found a chip :) Her name was Honey.
But registered in Hull and phone number not recognised :(
Vet nurse took picture and posted on fb.

No-one has facilities, dog warden doesn't work weekends.
A vet in Hythe could take her, I'm not allowed to drive that far...
I brought her home. Walked round again, told more people where she was.
Finally, about half an hour ago, a knock on the door :)
Woman crying, have you got my mum's dog...
She was from the road parallel to the gardens that back onto ours, quite a way really.
All's well that ends well :D
