Morning :)
Sunny and gorgeous :D

No pool but a table and chair in the garden, I may be there some time :)
I popped into w/rose yesterday and bought myself some treats - avocado, prawns, and Columbian coffee ice cream :D

Have a good day all

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, the forecast says we're in for a nice weekend :D

Your day sounds perfect Ally.

Yesterday didn't go quite to plan, what with waiting for the GP to phone and then having a neighbour pop in for a visit, I didn't get to go for my little walk until very late. Managed to get as far as the 3rd bungalow along before turning back. Probably could have done a bit more, but it's getting used to the uneven pavements and we have a lot of quite sloped dropped kerbs. Will be trying again a couple of times today, I'm determined to get as far as our nearest shop if it kills me  First proper goal is to get to The Racing Greyhound and have a nice pub lunch. The seafront would be better and it's lovely and flat, but I'd need a lift to get there and E doesn't drive so that will have to wait a while.

Have a good day :D

Well done Jen, sounds like good progress.
Maybe you could treat yourselves and get a taxi to and from the seafront in a day or two? xx

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning and rather warm it is going to be too :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: 8-)

Good advice from Di, Jen. Treat yourselves and have a lovely gentle stroll along the sea-front. Especially if the sun is shining :D :D :D

A little achey from the rather strenuous weeding the last few days, only another half a day should sort out the big one's, then I'll be able to tackle the smaller ones

Down to the bar later, only to take the recycling down, but be rude not to stop and check the post ;) ;) and have a beer or three before the curry tonight 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

What a lovely day. I always think that May and June are the lovliest months in the UK; fresh greenery and blooming flowers. :D

A gentle walk along the sea front sounds just the thing. Di, I too am going to be in the garden with a book! It's just the day for it. Enjoy the pool Ally and I think you need a couple of paracetamol Jan!

Have a smashing day everyone.

Excellent suggestion Di, Jen sea and sunshine would be just the ticket :D

Morning :) Just enjoying the sunshine outside Corretto's, and looking at the new frontage to the Waterways Museum - can't decide whether I like it or not :? Round to D's after as her kitchen isn't finished yet. That's a couple of hours sitting in her gorgeous garden then ;)

Have a great day everyone, enjoy this beautiful weather :D 8-) xxx

Just been out for a walk and almost got to the end of the cul de sac, remembered I had to get back lol, feeling very chuffed. Will have another go this afternoon. We have thought about a taxi, but right now it's a bit difficult getting into anything too low. Probably sensible to wait a few days, tbh the harbour will be teaming with people this weekend.

Good afternoon all, it's been a busy one!

I walked Billy early on and was back in time to see both lads off to work. We've been to Wetherspoons for breakfast, done some shopping. I've hoovered through and stripped beds, washed a load of clothes and then the bedding so that's all out on the line now. When that's dry and the line's folded up and put away I'll mow the lawns.

I'm making a curry for dinner and I've also bought all of the bots to make Eton Mess. Joe had a revelation the other night when we went out and he looked at the menu; he admitted that he thought it was called 'eating mess'

Have a good day all!
