Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 08 May 2018, 05:05

Good morning.

Sunny and warm. 8-) 8-)

A very quick run. Ditto swim. Then have a very busy day ahead. :o

We break up from school in 6 weeks and it's the final set of exams in the academy. These are so important as they determine if a student is ready to take their B1/B2 or C1 exams...a stressy time for them.

Will be glad to finish at 9 tonight, flop on the sofa and be served some delicious fayre by my resident chef.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another bright and sunny day 8-)

Had a rotten night, up and down to the loo, gave up in the end and have been sat in the lounge since 5am. E's up now and had a shower so almost brekkie time. Planning a couple of walks interspersed with spending time in the garden. Usually only manage a couple of hours out there, can't do the garden chair for much longer, but it's nice while it lasts.

Have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Misty start but supposed to be a lovely day when that disappears.

A busy time for you all Ally x

Have a slightly lazier day Jen x

Enjoy craft Di x
Grumpy has either fibrisitus or a pulled muscle in his chest and right arm and is trying to get up - I've left him to it - he's like me when my sciatic nerve went ping. In agony

Depending on whether he can get up at all is dependent on what we do today. I can drive us over to Castro to look at freezers or he can just laze around, munching pain-killers. He certainly won't be doing any work.

I'll make a curry for tonight, to cheer him up ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

That will be busy for you too Ally xx

Craft sounds fun today Di :D

You'll get there Jen (((x)))

Same sort of weather here Jan, hazy but the forecast is for low 20's later :) I hope Grumpy feels better soon xx

Got a couple of things to do in town, then am meeting D at Costa's in the city centre. Hoping to get lots of steps in today, as yesterday's were dire  ;) I love the heat, but it does make me lazy as I'm not used to it   B's only day at work all week, as she's using up holiday.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

A quick hello from me - mom and I getting ourselves ready to head out to her favourite garden centre, then back home for a lazy afternoon before heading out again to meet up with Karl, Nadine and kids for dinner.

Jan, that sounds really painful, hope Grumpy feels better soon x
Ally, Di and Kaz, enjoy your respective days
Jen, hope your day is OK. What type of garden chairs do you have - do you need something that's a bit higher (like a lounger) that may be easier to get in and out of and also softer material to cushion you more?

Well best skedaddle and get on with it - have a lovely day all; enjoy the sunshine while it lasts xx

Change of plan - again

He's up, stuffed full of painkiller and we're going to stay here for the day, he'll probably light the bonfire later and then we'll pop down to the bar for a beer or thre before the curry tonight.

Have a lovely day with your mom and family Ria x

Sun now out and it's going to be another hot day. Must remember to put sun-cream on 8-)

Good morning all, another sunny and hot one here.

It's Joe's 18th birthday today, can't believe it's 18 years since he came into our lives. And it was flippin' hot back then too  He's done very well for gifts. We're giving him some money towards a car, I'm holding onto it until he needs it though but off family and my friend Alison (his Godmother) he's had a total of £360  Julie and Rog called around yesterday with a card for him and he was very surprised to find £100 in that when he opened it this morning
I quite fancy having an 18th birthday myself now

Not much planned for today. I'm on my own with Billy for most of it. Joe's going out straight after college and then he's getting a bus over to Lichfield to meet John and to go to a pub with him. John's cycled into work today so they'll both bus it back, I'll probably walk down to the bus station to meet them with Billy although I have a feeling that Joe will go to meet Raegan.

Jen, be kind to yourself xx

Kaz, I don't mind heat when I'm abroad but here when you've got to carry on as normal I hate it.

Di, enjoy craft! I expect the box you're working on will be very colourful and cheery!

Have a good day all!
