Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Antibiotics turned up before 5pm yesterday so I was able to get two lots down. They're a bit of a faff, have to be taken 60mins before food or 2 hours after, includes snacks. Oh well as long as they do the trick.

Our garden seems to attract lots of different birds, blue tits are using both boxes attached to our back fence, it's fascinating watching them pop in and out.

E needs to get the bus into town this morning to collect his prescription and buy a few bits for the weekend. When he gets back it will be another day of walks and hopefully stay nice enough to get out in the garden for a couple of hours.

Have a good day :D

Morning :)
Sunny, blue sky, breezy.

Bb has an unexpected day off, so we have plans to be out and about.
Quite a load to take to the charity shop, and we thought a wander down to the quay for some lunch :)
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

Dull, grey start to the day again. But as it got rather warm late on yesterday, hoping for the same today.

Ally, envy you swimming, I really should be in ours, but too cold still.

Glad the prescription turned up Jen and take it steady x

Enjoy your day off Di x

We seem to have a lot of blue magpies at the moment - they do make a row though ;)

My day will be spent picking, blanching and freezing    I'll take the wheelbarrow down - as we have rather a lot of broad beans

Might be a pit-stop at the bar later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you'«re doing xx

Evening All
Another day in my chair today. Highly exciting.
Oliver went back to school yesterday after his adenoids Operation on Tuesday, so I thought I had better go and see his new teacher. I parked outside school nice and close, had a rest in his class, walked to the office and had a rest there, and repeated the process on the way home. I’m very fortunate that another mum caught up with me and started chatting as we walked down the back path, as I suddenly veered into her and went all dizzy and she the only reason I didn’t collapse on the ground. She’s very strong.
So that spooked me a bit, so I stayed close to my chair today. I don’t know if I should be worried or not, could just be CFS playing up as I have been able to take my tablets. Who knows.
Mother’s Day here on Sunday, haven’t even been able to get to the shops to by my mum a card, they weren’t in the shops before my op.
Everything happens for a reason

Good morning all, it's quite dull now after a sunny start.

Just me and Bill at the moment, he's had a long and early walk so is happy. John's cycled into work and Joe's left for college. Tom will be back to get changed for work and pick up his car a little later. Joe's got his big night out tonight and John's also going out with some neighbours.

Jen, glad it turned up. I've been taking daily Penicillin since having my spleen removed 16 years ago and still struggle with those timings. Joe now has that issue too :?

Di, enjoy the day!

Kaz, it sounds like you're going to have a lovely day :)

Jan, I love broad beans!

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, it is dull, dreary and quite chilly here  It appears Kellie aka Little Miss Spotty does have chickenpox so has not gone to school. Miss Osc was waiting to see if childminder could take her, as the childminder sometimes minds a much younger grandchild on a Friday and obviously would not want him infected. We said we were around to help out, but have not heard back so childminder must be ok. Gym this morning, and dancing this evening.

Morning all

A sunny day but cold wind here; just waiting for the machine to finish the wash so I can hang it out and will then head to the allotment to get started with the clear up. I'm really way behind, but between rubbish weather and various other commitments there just hasn't been the time. But now with the lighter evenings I can go past after work and get 1/2 hour done each evening.

Finally had my new sofa delivered today - it's a sofa bed I'd ordered especially so mom would have somewhere more comfy to sleep than the guest bed she usually uses. I do offer my bed but because of the cat flap being right by the bed she's worried about the cats bringing in dead mice and she doesn't like them sleeping on the bed with her she prefers to sleep in the lounge. Anyway long story short - sofa bed was meant to be delivered end March and it only turned up today - mom left yesterday! Now in touch with DFS to work out compensation for the delay. They gave me a loan sofa bed for whilst mom was here (I was promised a top quality one and ended up with some skanky 2nd hand one that was no where near the quality I'd bought or was expecting on loan so I had to buy a mattress topper for it so going to ask for that money back as well) - the manager at the store should be calling me back today so we can work things out; but from past experience I'll be needing to call him again. It's just been a mess from start to finish really

Too many to reply to individually so hope you all enjoy your respective days shopping, lunching, mooching, pottering etc and hope little Kellie isn't feeling to miserable xxx
