Good morning Monday

Postby Diflower » 14 May 2018, 06:10

Morning :)
Blue skies and sunshine :)

Hoping I'm feeling up to driving the new car to art, and on to the hospital for bloods.
If not Bb will ferry me.
A good day for enjoying the weather, hope you all have it.

Morning all :D

Looks a bit dull and overcast right now, but I think the forecast is good, we'll see.

Hope you're able to enjoy driving your new car Di.

The District Nurse is due to remove the rest of my staples sometime today. Hoping she's happy the antibiotics are clearing the infection.

Managing to walk even further now, doing the circuit and getting out onto the main road for a couple of hundred yards too. First time I did it I was smiling like a Cheshire cat. My biggest problem is having an arthritic ankle on the good side, it can make me a bit wobbly some days. Our pavements are uneven to say the least, poor E, he's in a perpetual panic

Have a good day :D

Good morning Di, Jen and all :D

It's a lovely sunny one here. Billy's had his walk, John's gone to work, Tom's getting up soon and heading back to Wolverhampton and Joe's in bed. He was supposed to have a driving lesson later this morning but he's got a horrible cold so has called and cancelled.

The washing machine's doing it's job so I'll hang the clothes out to dry once it's finished. Tom's been having a clear our in his room and there are a couple of bin bags which look like they contain a lot of paper so I'll sort those for recycling.

I got sunburnt yesterday  I checked the weather forecast for Manchester and it said 15c and cloudy with sunny spells. It was actually a few degrees over that and there was hardly a cloud in the sky and we had the sun full on us at the match, just glad I thought to take my sunglasses on the off chance. It was forecast as 15 and cloudy and showery when we were last up there three weeks ago; it was quite cold and we got soaked to the skin walking back into the city because it rained heavily so I wore a jacket and a long sleeved top yesterday because I was caught out last time and ended up roasting

Di, I hope you manage to have a drive xx

Jen, you're doing so well! Hope the infection has cleared xx

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

Sunshine, blue sky - and that dratted wind   so feeling cooler that it should.

Hope you get to drive the car Di x and good luck with the bloods x

Happy walking Jen - don't rush around ;)

Happy Birthday to Chris Kaz x He's a few weeks older than Julia, who will be 40 next month  Going into Ourique later, to order building type things for the bedroom and will pop in to see Jan on the way. She has a large bank which needs plants and we have plenty of those, so I've got 7 cuttings for her.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Jen, you are doing well and I hope you get to drive the new car Di.

Bright but cool here atm. Going up to daughter's soon to give her car a start with jump leads - it's been parked up for weeks and the battery is flat.
Then it's the dentist. :(

Never mind, onwards and upwards!

Have a lovely day all.

Don has been given a new Anti coagulant--Apixaban.
Doctor has told him that one of the side effects is bleeding from the nose or other parts
so he is wary of taking them. Anyone had experience of this tablet?
Have a good day.
