Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 25 May 2018, 05:49

Good morning.

I needn't bother saying the weather for the next 5 months as it's hot and getting hotter.

A swim then nail painting is my choice of activity.

Homework club then meeting Don for our Friday beers and tapas. :D

Have a good day.

Morning :)
Sun shining at the moment, but rain is I think forecast.

Support group for me this morning, then tonight we're going for dinner at Prezzo.
Tesco are changing their cupboard vouchers from 4 times the value down to 3, so we're using one up :)

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all, it's absolutely hammering down here :?

Suffice to say that no walking has been done this morning. John's cycled into work and Joe's just left for college. He's going to see Raegan after he finishes as she's off to Cornwall with her family for eight days from tomorrow. He said he wouldn't be long though as she has to be up for 2am, they're doing what we always used to do when going there and driving down at stupid o'clock to miss the worst of the traffic. Tom's coming back later to get his car before his shift.

Have a good day all!

Di, you've reminded me that I have to check out where my latest Clubcard vouchers are. The points went off my balance a week or so back and the vouchers usually arrive before I've noticed but this time they're not here. Bit odd as we had no post at all last week.

Enjoy Prezzo!

Morning everyone

Sunshine and clouds. Wet stuff is forecast

Sorting out the utility room today, as the grass is still too wet to strim  Things to move out, all into the spare room, no doubt   as the washing machine is being moved tomorrow morning.

Footie later and tuna salad for dinner.

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :)

 Ally :D

Ooh Prezzo, lovely Di :D

Saundra, changeable forever I reckon

Jo, it's hammering here too, but I have to walk up to D's in a while so we can go shopping. I'm looking for my waterwings :P ;)

Morning Jan :)

As mentioned, shopping at Sainsbury's this afternoon, then home to some housework - although to be honest there is little point in steaming the floors when it's raining, as the dogs just tramp mud in

We had police helicopters flying really low over the house yesterday at tea time, no idea why :? Might check the local news sites to see if anything turns up!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. Grey and rainy here too. I was going to get the car valeted (it's filthy) but maybe tomorrow would be better. Steve the painter finishes today so he'll need paying.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Not sure what's going on, we've woken to a heavy mist, more like autumn than summer  Hope it brightens as the day goes on.

We love Prezzo Di, our nearest one is Broadstairs and we haven't been able to get there since I started using the chair. It's high on the list of treats once I'm getting about easily again.

My progress has stepped up a notch, feeling rather chuffed with myself, actually managed to walk a reasonable distance with just one crutch yesterday afternoon. The physio at the hospital said I would know when I was comfortable to try, still needed both a few times outside, the dropped kerbs are a nightmare, but on the flat I was absolutely fine. Using both first thing, but will persevere around the house and build it up on my walks.

Nothing much happening here today, what plans do you all have for the bank holiday weekend?

Crommers, tomorrow might well be better ;)

Jen, that's great and really sounds like progress :) We're going to another dance class tomorrow morning, but otherwise our plans are just to (hopefully) enjoy the sunshine :D
