Popping into town this morning to get a few bits and bobs.

Swim when I get home then pootle till work at 4.

Meeting Don when I finish at 9 for a pre-weekend beer.

Dull, rain forecast.

We had such a lovely time at L's birthday dinner
It was warm enough to all gather outside for prosecco before going in for dinner.
Such a lovely collection of family and friends!
Two big tables full, and all as L's guests

Then we got home to find Minnie had had a colitis attack...we were up rather a long time

Poor Minnie So glad you had a great time last night Di, shame about the ending. Hope Minnie is feeling better today.

Blasted internet keeps going off, on again, off

Grumpy is just about to start screeding the new floor

I'll be a lady (well, woman) wot does stuff inside today. Cooking a couple of meals to go in the freezer, bit of cleaning, bit of spraying outside.

Dinner tonight is my attempt at carne a Portuguesa

Good morning all, it's a misty one here with some rain mixed in. I think we have storms forecast for later.

Billy's been walked and the rain has scuppered my plans to mow the lawns first thing. I've got plenty to do indoors though. Shopping tonight.

She was good in the night though, we shut her in the kitchen with her bed and she didn't make a fuss.

Morning all

Hope we have a repeat of yesterday, it started very dull like now, but turned out to be lovely and sunny as the day went on.

I'm really fed up, managed one walk yesterday but my ankle was so bad had to give up. Spent the rest of the day with it propped up and had to ice pack it for the evening. Back to two crutches again, and hobbling around. Not sure if I'll get much walking done today, it's as much as I can do to get round the house.

Well we have sunshine! Yayyy! Going to Dunelm with Emma this afternoon, for coffee and a mooch Not feeling 100% at the moment, I had a scratchy throat the other day, and last night and this morning have a weird tingling down my left leg. I didn't go to Zumba after all last night as I felt really tired. Oh well, I'm sure it will pass

Good morning all, it's gorgeous here, but that will probably change as I have put the summer duvet on the bed I will be going to collect Kellie shortly, I have made an appointment to get her hair trimmed at 2pm. Then she will stay with Grandad while I collect Michael from school and bring him to his golf. It is at the nearer course to us today, so while waiting for him, I will go for a stroll as the rhodendrons are in full flower at the moment.
