Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 01 Jun 2018, 05:13

Good morning.

Hot & sunny. Flaming June. 8-) 8-) 8-)

This morning we're off to Arroyo de la Miel to Tivoli market. It's a huge outdoor one and there is a stall that an English couple have that sells cards - I'll get one for Father's Day. :D :D

We'll have a good mooch round then pop in somewhere for a spot of lunch. :D

Homework club then meeting Don for our usual Friday beer and tapas. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

We have sunshine - at last  8-) Quite cloudy, but big clouds, so they'll soon go.

We're planting the sunflowers this morning. Just hope we get them the right way round

Grumpy will be sorting out what he needs to do next, I might get the ironing done.

have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Dull again here, warm though.

Meeting two or three friends for coffee this morning, at the garden centre with the tree fountain :)

(Where is next door going, without golf clubs, at this time of day?...)

Hope you all enjoy the day

He's going to the garden centre Di! Flaming June here it is not, we do not have sunshine. It is warm but grey. Don't overdo the ironing Jan!

I'm off to do the weekend shop now and cut the grass later.

Have a lovely day all.

Morning all :)

I was going to say Flaming June too Ally, but with an eyeroll smiley as it's looking like another dull and rainy day here

Di, how intriguing :geek: :?:  Have a good time at that gorgeous garden centre 8-)

Morning Crommers :)

I had a nice afternoon with Emma yesterday, we went to the Quays first, and I bought a really nice swimming cossie in M&S, one of those that goes on bra size rather than dress size, so an excellent fit - less than half price :D Gap had everything on 50% off the outlet price, so I bought myself a new plain black teeshirt, then got Mick a pair of those tracksuit shorts, and a nice tee - all three came to £20! Then on to the retail park where Dunelm is, where I got a much needed new set of coffee mugs - white china with red poppies - reduced down to £1.25 each, and the matching table mats and coasters. I also managed to finally find a replacement for a green cushion that Fraggle had ruined by pawing at it   Food shopping with D today, then ironing.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

echoing the dull, grey but warm comments here. The weekend is meant to brighten up though - that does make a change; usually it's the other way round

Enjoy all the bit and bobs you're all up to Jan and Ally
Kaz and Crommers; don't go too mad in the food aisles :D and Di enjoy the coffee meet

Sort of usual/usual today - it's Friday so we always have lunch provided; pizza today (yum) and then leaving a bit early to pick up my car that's been in for a repair.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, we've got a foggy morning again. It's cleared a bit from when I walked Billy though - I can see the trees behind the houses opposite now.

Housework to do today, I'm currently midway through doing the bathrooms. Tom's back at lunchtime, he's only staying tonight as he's off to Ashbourne again after work tomorrow as it's Shannon's 21st on Sunday. I'd been puzzling over what to get her when we went to Birmingham the other week and then Tom mentioned that she'd bought a Pandora bracelet the day before and he was going to get her a charm for it, he'd asked her for pictures of any that she liked so I chose one of those.

Kaz, I miss Dunelm! We used to have a two in Cannock town centre; a large one selling bedding and curtains etc and then one slightly smaller selling kitchenware etc. They opened an out of town store though and closed those. It's not easily accessible now. No buses stop nearby and even by car is a nightmare as the roads are so busy with a constant stream of HGVs, walking is definitely not recommended as it's on the A5 near to a junction for the M6 and you have to cross a dual carriageway with no crossing points.

Di, enjoy coffee!

Ally, the market sounds fab!

Have a good day all!
