Ralph McTell is lovely and a great performer. Saw him here in Dublin many many years ago, a magical show he did with the late Jim MCann. I'll tell you a funny story - my brother was executive producer of the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin (won by Buck's Fizz). We were at it and afterwards were heading to a party in the hotel room of Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent. My brother had gone on ahead, and we knocked on the wrong door - it was answered by a rather tired and emotional Ralph McTell. We were invited in, we should have accepted the invite as Hatch and Trent weren't that nice! I think you will thoroughly enjoy it, Ossie - Streets of London is one of my favourites, a powerful and sad song.
How marvellous, Osc. We're really looking forward to it. The venue is Gillingham School Hall, and tickets are apparently selling well, so hopefully there'll be a good crowd.

Frank Turner's current Ria so you've got no excuses He's in his mid 30s, hard to describe...punk/folk...and he puts on one hell of a live show which he seems to love doing as he's almost constantly touring, he played show number 2180 this week. We've been at 7 of them.
