Morning :)
Dull here this morning, going to stay that way all day according to Carol.

Ton I'm glad we didn't have a trip to Portugal planned, the Algarve doesn't look much better than where you are.

Craft for me this morning, plus a phone appointment and some sorting for the charity shop.

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning all, it's dull here and much cooler. It's a nice relief actually after the heat we've had recently.

I want to give the borders a good dig over shortly and there's some housework to be done. Tom came back from Shannon's late last night and is going back to Wolverhampton sometime today, Joe's in college this morning and then he's meeting Raegan and they're coming back here this afternoon.

I've also got to try, yet again, to cancel John's car fuel benefit on the gov.uk site. I tried all day yesterday, went through the whole process and each time I submitted the details I'd get a message saying that the service is unavailable. Last week I tried to tax Joe's car on there and the flippin' site was down for scheduled maintenance midway through the afternoon (and again it didn't flash that up until all details had been entered).

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here again :(

I'm desperate for a hair cut and colour, the problem is even when I can drive, my hairdresser's salon is like an obstacle course. Really need to find a new one, but it's the whole thing about a new stylist, decisions, decisions.

Did manage to get out for a walk yesterday, still not pushing it, the ankle is a lot better but I'm being extra careful so as not to set it off again. Also was a bit naughty, thinking about the taxi we'll need to get to the hospital tomorrow, I decided to see how difficult it would be getting in/out of the car and ended up driving round the block  It will be 6 weeks tomorrow which is the time set by the DVLA, hoping the consultant will give me the official go ahead, it will make life so much easier for both of us.

Have a good day :D

Morning all, it's an ordinary sort of day here, dull, and cooler than recent days. I have a mountain of ironing to climb as the rest of the week has a lot going on, so it has to be done. Had a long phone chat with Miss Osc, she sometimes phones when she is driving (isn't bluetooth amazing :D ) as it is hard to find time in her busy life for us to sit down, minus children, for a natter. They are going on holiday on Saturday, so she is now busy piled on top of busy.

Jen, would you be open to having someone come to your house to cut your hair? If yes why not join a website called Nextdoor; you register for your local area only and it's really fab. If you ask on there for recommendations of a mobile hairdresser you'll most likely get lots of recommendations for the same person.
