Good morning Sunday

Postby Diflower » 10 Jun 2018, 07:12

Morning :)
Looking quite good out there, not as sunny as yesterday but bright and dry.

The boys are coming today :)
We asked if they wanted lunch or dinner and the answer was both :D
Bb's mum and maybe dad will come for lunch too.
It's their birthdays this week and next so it will cost us!

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Di and everyone

Was lovely and sunny earlier, now just cloudy   But it's not cold ;)

Hope you're feeling better today Di and can enjoy having the boys around.

Washing machine on and it will be interesting to see where the water goes - Grumpy has adapted a bit of piping to the drain and it should be draining out into the garden ;)

Will be weeding later and roast chicken for dinner.

Hav a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Di, that sounds like a lovely family day 8-) :) xxx

Hope the washing machine drains how it's supposed to Jan ;) :D

It's dry and bright here too, maybe it will be sunny later as yesterday started like this and was scorchio by about 1pm 8-) 8-) We're out in a bit, to find somewhere nice to read the papers and have a coffee, then we need to drop our few bits for the skip round to D's.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

I got a piece of gammon to cook for baguettes for lunch.
Bb will go to w/rose for the baguettes, and Chinese for dinner, plus a pudding, so not much to do :)

The boys can all watch a film this afternoon and I shall have my kip.

Good morning all, it's dull and warm here after a sunny start.

I thought I was going daft in the woods this morning. I could hear music coming from the direction of the houses on the A34, this was at 7.30 so very early but then I bumped into another woman with a dog who said "is it me or can you hear music too?" I expect that someone wouldn't be very popular with their neighbours at that time on a Sunday!

John's gone out on his bike, a bit of a different route for him today as there's an Ironman event around the area and much of the Chase is being used for that so is closed off. The lads are both still in bed. Tom's driving to Wales this evening to see his Nan for a couple of days, and he's dropping me and John at Wetherspoon's in town on the way  Joe had an evening out with Raegan's family last night, some kind of family reunion. We've found out that he's gained the nickname Bob, because Raegan's brother is also called Joe (and he's not a Joseph either) and it gets confusing - as we well know - so that's what they call him

Have a lovely day with the family Di xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all.....well almost

Bit dull and overcast right now, it's supposed to brighten later, we'll see.

Have a lovely family day Di.

Feeling very chuffed with myself, managed to wash my hair without using the stool in the shower, made a jelly and blancmange and got some washing on. Still need one crutch, but can get round the kitchen without by using the worktops to steady myself. Tbh I'm standing without support really well, couldn't do nearly as well before the op 8-)

Not much else happening today, need to give the house a whiz, back to normal with me doing the dusting and E following with the hoover. Even if I could manage, the chance of getting his toy the Dyson away from him is nil

Have a good day :D
