Morning Ally, morning all ;)
We have what I hope is just a blip in the weather today.
It's cool, dull and very windy, but not so much as other parts of the country.

I have some printing off to do today, always takes a while, then I will see how the weather is before deciding what else to do.

Take care if you have the gales, hope you enjoy the day

Good morning!

It's dull and very windy here, it looks like there's been rain overnight as there's rain on the cars but everywhere else has dried up. Could still feel a bit in the air though as we've walked. I'm just back with Billy, John's left for work and both lads are still in bed. No idea of their plans for today. Joe finished his year at college on Tuesday, although he has to go in one day next week just to check that everything is finished off.

There'll be some cleaning to do and I need to do a shopping list and menu for next week. It's like Old Mother Hubbard's kitchen at the moment and we're so low on the basics. Although Tom's not home properly until the end of the month he's been here for much of the week and I need to get my head around shopping for four again rather than three.

I'll walk Billy again later in the afternoon, he usually goes after dinner but there's not time on Thursdays.

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

We had such a lovely day yesterday, but it's started off grey and cold again this morning :? :? the sun is trying very hard to break through the clouds.

Jose Felipe as here at 5.15 this morning :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Woke us up, so I'm sure next door's guests were awake too, as the dogs started, then the donkey

Gentle dead heading and other gardeney stuff for me.

Had a shock yesterday. A name kept appearing on fb - the husband of a friend who I have not seen for years. No idea why it would come up - but she sent me a message and we had a lovely chat :D :D :D

A houseful again then Jo ;) :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you lot - morning everyone

LOL Jan - that is karma :D :D :D
Jo, nevermind cooking for 4 vs 3, but it's also a huge appetite 4th ;) . It never ceases to amaze me just how much my nephew can put away when he's hungry
Ally, enjoy the day and the pre-weekend beer
Di, same weather here - grey, windy and just meh :( But not overly cold really

Another usual/usual for me but may go round to Karl and Nadine after work. They're having an extension built and today the windows and doors arrive - it'll make such a difference and I cannot wait to see it

have a lovely day all

Blimey Jan, that was an early start!

Yep, a full house - and even fuller this weekend as Shannon's staying
Ria, I think they must have hollow legs! My two are the same as your nephew. Actually, so is John!

Morning all :)

We have the yucky weather too, Di, bit of a comedown after the long stretch of fine sunny days :cute:

Jo, Ria, my food bill goes through the roof when Harry is here  Where do they put it?

An extension sounds exciting for them Ria, we've thought about either a conservatory or extension to the living room here, but decided it would leave too little garden....

Heading out for my walk shortly, will need a coat :cute: Pilates tonight :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. I got up at 4.30 to go to the bathroom and all was still, but we now have strong winds. Very unusual for June.

MrsC is off on dad duty, I have to get some bits and bobs today. The World Cup is starting today and I never realised!

Have a good day all.

You should have seen how much Chinese the boys put away on Sunday, and Bb bought far more than he thought we needed

Eldest's birthday today, he's 23 - I first met him about a month after his 7th birthday :D

Do it Kaz. If you put it onto the lounge then have brick wall along the fence line and the two sides going into the garden but full opening concertina doors on there - yes more expensive but it's the one thing I wouldn't go cheap on - and that way you can be indoors but outdoors when it's a lovely summer day; and in winter you have the doors closed and it's just the most amazing warm space if your garden is a sun trap. It's the one thing I miss the most about my old flat; my conservatory
