turned out not to be ended up going out for lunch with two colleagues; lovely food (mexican) but oh my such dire and slow service. If I had had to ask for the bill one more time I'd have left without paying

Yes, it's whether it would add value, as we're planning to only be here for the next few years. The extra space would be lovely, but we do already have lovely access and views to the garden through the almost room-width patio doors. Hmm it's a dilemma really........
