I have several lined up on my kindle, but not been in a reading mood lately. All lightweight stuff "The Dressmaker's Secret" by Charlotte Betts, "Holiday Cottage by the Sea", "The Little Italian Bakery" etc...you get the drift, summer reading :D I'll get round to it, no doubt ;)

I'm still on the Matt Coyle book, "Dummy". I don't seem to have had much time for reading lately.

  I only ever seem to read these days on Saturdays & Sundays.

But given I break up from work 21st June till 24th September I'm sure there will be quite a few reading days in that time span.

I read a book :Hi:
Checking Out by Nick Spalding - he wrote Fat Chance, which some of us read.
Bit of a macabre subject, especially for me, but it was good, very light reading.

Hope to start another one soon, I have a selection on my kindle.

I read a fair chunk of Freedom fries and cafe creme, wondering how these various characters were going to come together, before realising each chapter was supposed to be a short story
I say supposed to be, as most of them weren't, they just petered out or left it dangling.
Didn't like it, was so cross I Removed from Device :D

Now to find a proper book, several on kindle to choose from.

I spent all weekend with my head in Tania Carver's The Surrogate.

It was a great read! It was her first novel and I googled the name only to discover she was a he and that more books have been written. :D

Good job we're bringing a case back from the UK - I'm trawling the charity shops for books!

I started it a while back but couldn't get into it, so giving it another go.
It's got a couple more chapters before it's Removed from device ;)
