Thank you everyone.

I went down to my sis for a BBQ and just stayed a while.

I am now officially an OAP, but do not feel at all like one. ;) 8-) 8-) Going down to the bus station tomorrow to get my Senior Citizen travel card. Well, you have to... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I know I don't get my pension until I'm 66 now :cute: :twisted: :twisted: Grumpy got his at 65.

Yes, they are generally tied in to state pension age. Londoners get an Oyster travel card at 60, but it's been left up to local councils and most made the decision to tie it into the SPA :( I would have got mine next year, but now not until 2025. You still get free prescriptions at 60, it's just about the only thing they haven't changed - yet!
