First day of my holibobs so it's off to Torremolinos for a walk along the coast we go. 8-) 8-)

Meeting friends at the feria tonight at 9pm - thought it best to go on the rides before we have beers and tapas.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Hot :D

Last night we went to the Italian restaurant - excellent!
Places that offer anchovies on their pizzas will always be a winner with me :)
Today we have breakfast, then check out by ten, then most of the day for more pootling around., as our ferry is not till 5.
We will be going on mostly the little roads, and avoiding anywhere vaguely near Newport. The Festival is on and traffic will be gridlocked.

Enjoy the feria Ally!
Have a good day all

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

We had the mother, father and grandparents of a thunderstorm yesterday   It knocked my computer out, which is now a dead computer  so this morning is grey, but warm.

I-ll take the computer into Carlos in Ourique later, to see if it-s worth doing anything with. If not, it-s the lap/top, which has also gone funny on me and I can-t use the mouse. If Steve comes up in the next day or so, I-ll ask him to have a look for me.

Other than that, Grumpy is making noise, I was going to strim, but too wet, so I will probably do not a lot. And for some reason, I-ve gone back to silly stuff on here too, ......

Have a good day everyone, whatever you are doing xx

Good morning from Stavanger, where there is sun and cloud but it looks a bit windy. This is our last port of call before a day at sea tomorrow on our way back to arrive in Southampton early Sunday. On Tuesday night we had rough seas and were unable to get into the harbour at Alesund on Wednesday because of the high wind so that meant an extra day at sea, although it calmed down pretty well. Yesterday we were in Flam, the highlight for us and we had a lovely full day excursion including a trip on the world famous Flam railway (every bit as good as you said, Saundra). We have been dancing every night. I don’t think we will ever travel with Royal Caribbean again, everything on Cunard is a cut above and suits us very well. We are actually thinking of doing another one in September that we thought we could do next year, but they are not doing it next year.

Glad you are having such a lovely break, Di xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your last day Di, so pleased you've been having a lovely time.

It was lovely being able to drive again, but the freedom meant we could get to numerous shops so I did more walking than I've done for a very long time so feeling a bit stiff this morning. Physio said to give myself a couple of days off each week so it's exercises and sitting in the garden today.

Have a good day :D

So easy to get carried away Jen / take it steady x

New loo has arrived so off to collect that from Ourique.

Turned out to be quite warm day and I was just about to jump in the pool, but will do that when we-re back.

Haven-t taken the computer down yet, waiting for Steve to check it over first, and the sockets.

Afternoon all! I typed out a long post earlier, bit it wouldn't post, and then I had to go out!

Di, enjoy your last day :D

Osc, it all sounds great xxx

I've been for a blood test ( just routine, a new patient thing at my new practice) and then food shopping with Becky and Doreen. It's beautifully warm here, I think I might have half an hour in the garden 8-)

Love to all :) xxx

We're home :)
Been here a while, we pootled all we could but were at Yarmouth by lunchtime. Thought we may as well ask at the ferry whether we could get on an earlier one, and after a couple of minutes checking, she said we could go on the 1.05 if we wanted :)
So we did, went to the tree fountain garden centre for lunch and then home.

It was a good idea to ask, it meant I had time for a kip, and Bb collected Minnie early too :)
We wouldn't have minded an hour or two in Yarmouth but didn't feel we could get fussy!

Not unpacked, will do it later, or tomorrow will do.
