Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 25 Jun 2018, 05:12

Good morning.

Hot. 8-) 8-)

Off for a 12km run up and down our hills - I've been so intent thinking about Kilimanjaro I nearly forgot about Switzerland in a couple of months. :o As that involves a couple of mountains I'd better get going.

A swim when I get back.

Jose's tonight for the footy. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

A little overcast this morning, which is good, as I-m off strimming in a few minutes   Grumpy will be finishing off the end wall, hopefully.

I-m off to Castro Verde later with Jackie, looking at tiles for the floor and shower Steve will come up to do more plumbing and wiring.

I-m cooking steak, garlic mushroom, chips and onion rings by request tonight, as it is our 36 wedding anniversary today and tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning Ally, morning Jan

Happy anniversary Jan, enjoy the dinner - sounds delicous
Ally, hope the run was a good one, and no need to say enjoy that swim afterwards - bet that'll be bliss

Well life is back to normal for me again - I had my niece from SA here so I had Friday off to be able to spend time with her. She left last night and today I took off as well so I can get much needed work done at home and at the allotment. The weekends are just flying by and are quite busy and there is still loads to do. Going to be a scorcher today (and the rest of the week) though and as there is no shade at all I'm not sure just how much I can get done at the allotment; but hey....

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to xx

Good morning all, it's warm and sunny here.

Actually it's hot where I am - outpatients at Stafford. I'm sure the NHS could save a fair bit of money if they'd just turn the heating down a bit! Anyway, I've brought Joe for a blood test ready for his appointment next week, we're a bit early though as they don't start until 8.30 but there's no one else waiting so that's good. They haven't actually put the numbers out yet.

Happy Anniversary Jan and Grumpy!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Blooming kindle, I just typed out a long post and lost it  :cute:

Ally, you'll deserve that swim! ;)

Ria, take care at the allotment in this heat xxxx

Happy Anniversary, Jan and Grumpy! :D

Beautiful here too, Saundra :) 8-) xxx

Have a good time at art Di :)

Jo, there is a ticket machine at our hospital when you go for blood tests, like the ones in the P.O. :) I was lucky when I went last week, I got number 86, and they were already on 82 8-) Hope you get sorted soon xxx

We it's Monday, so WW for me! I have bedding to peg out first, and another load to put on. Mick will peg that out when he takes a coffee break, it's handy having him work from home sometimes ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Happy anniversary Jan! That sounds like a nice dinner. Be careful down the allotment Ria, take a break now and again.

Our son is coming for tea this evening, we need to get some food in. It looks like it's going to be scorchio here today.

I saw an accident outside our Sainsbury's local last night at about half past seven.. There was a large crowd that had gathered, bits of debris including a car bumper lying in the road and a car in a garden wall. I hope nobody was hurt. People park all over the place outside the shop all the time, but I can't help thinking that England had been playing and a lot of people will have been drinking all afternoon. Two or three police cars and a fire engine turned up; I suppose we'll find out what happened later.

Oh, and there was a loud party down the road last night at Sandra, with loud drunken singing going on towards midnight. I don't suppose the neighbours who get up early for work on Monday will have been too chuffed.

Have a good day all, don't get sunburned! :D
