Lovely morning, cool at the moment, but warming up nicely later

Grumpy has been outside for a while and will be - hopefully - finishing the wall off today. I'll be doing the domestic goddess bit

Day 2 of the anniversary and we're off to Castro Verde for dinner. Friends and trip advisor have rated this place highly, so will give it a go.

We're off to Southampton this morning, will get results of mri and what plan is next, or carry on with the same.
If finished in time we will stop somewhere nice on the way back.

It's looking like another beautiful day here, which would be great if I weren't suffering from the hay fever from hell! I don't get on well with tablets for it, so am going to get one of the inhaler things you squirt up your nose, and see how I get on with that. Found out yesterday that our WW leader is resigning, hopefully someone else will take it over though.

Fun fact: We're now closer to next Christmas than last!

Kaz, Perinase is a very good nose spray if you haven't bought one yet. They really do work well

Saundra, that's not good that you can't breathe well; do you suffer from asthma or is this something new? If new then try get to see a doctor

Well a usual/usual for me again - having the Friday and Monday off was sheer heaven and I could happily still be at home now. Promising to be another lovely hot day so hoping the trains home tonight behave; they were dire yesterday.

Kaz tablets do nothing for me I got a spray at the weekend beconese?Can't spell it seems better sea mist now gone but no wind like yesterday have a good day ria iv always been a bit Chesty
And I'm not one to go to the doctor they just fill you up with drugs and bad side effects but that's my opinion

Kaz, I swear by Beconase. I tried Perinase but it had no effect on me. My GP prescribed Beconase when Tom was a baby as I started suffering all year round after he was born (to the point that I was getting really wheezy and breathless, hence the GP visit as I thought I was developing asthma) and I've used it ever since.

I took Billy out very early to avoid the heat, we'll take him tonight and do the same as we did last night and go out at around 9pm. It was much more bearable by then.

Not sure what's happening today, need to stock up on more salad stuff, too hot to cook much. We'll probably go over to Westwood Cross and have a mooch round there, then it's back to sit out in the garden.
