Morning Ally and everyone

Misty this morning, but once that's gone, it will be another lovely warm and pleasant day 8-)

Enjoy lunch Ally. That's one meal we normally miss - can't eat at lunch time, feel so stuffed for the rest of the day, so we don't bother

Steve is supposed to be coming up this morning - he said that on Monday too, but didn't arrive :cute: :cute: :cute: He's not doing this as a favour, we are paying him for his time ;) Dimas is the same. Supposed to come up months ago, to cut down the mimosa tree. When I saw him on Sunday, he said he's be here either Tuesday or Wednesday, early. Oh well, there's always Heldar or Alberto

I'll do the beer and food run later - will have to get more cheapo flip- the Chinese - I poured chip oil all over me, the floor, kitchen cabinets - everywhere

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Hot and sunny :D

Treatment day today, and it's all change.
It has been at the lovely local hospice; two nurses come from Southampton, two days a week, and do full days of various treatments, mostly chemo.
There were two connected rooms, we got soup or sandwiches for lunch, not to mention the gorgeous gardens to look at.
Southampton hospital have taken over quite a lot of floor space at the local hospital, so they're moving this service. Today.
Head nurse not at all happy, is concerned about the whole atmosphere and situation.
We shall see.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all

Good luck for the treatment Di, hope the move isn't too disruptive... will the treatment still be at the hospice or is it elsewhere now?
Ally, had to google lagrimatas; if I found the right thing then they sound delicious - small pieces of crumbed chicken?
Jan, good luck with getting your bits and bobs done - the work mentality in Portugal reminds me a lot of SA :D

Well usual work day for me, but we'll see what this evening brings; all depends on how the trains are running. If same as yesterday then Nadine and I will meet up for dinner and while away the time until the problem eases. It's been mayhem two evenings on the trot now so neither Nadine or I are holding out much hope for a better end to the today

Plan for today is to google wasps - I accidentally disturbed a nest that was in the greenhouse (in a cat bed of all places); managed to get the cat bed out the greenhouse and away to the front front of the garden but now need to figure out what to do with the nest and hope that the wasps that are now frantically buzzing in and out the greenhouse a) find where I put their nest :( and b) don't try and build another one. So now to find a way to naturally discourage them - killing them is not an option. The cat igloo bed that they built the nest in I can write off as I won't be able to get the nest out there without injury to myself or them :? :? :?

Good looks with the treatment Di. Very cloudy here, a bit cool. But it is supposed to burn off later. Good luck also with the Wasp's nest Ria!

This morning we have daughter, baby Eliza and crackpot dog turning up sometime so it will be all hands on deck. Even more so as MrsC is taking her dad shopping and cooking his dinner on her own, as sister is off on holiday.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it was lovely for our walk earlier - much cooler and cloudy. That's all changed now though.

I've done some shopping and now having a clean up. We've got to help Tom move out of his flat tonight, Shannon's also coming over to help and I'm wondering if I can escape to the pub next door with her while John and Tom lug everything downstairs, along the road, around the corner and down the street to the nearest car park.

Hope everything goes well today Di x

Have a good day all!

Your signals sound as good as our's Saundra. We struggle with getting a mobile signal, DAB signal, Freeview is dodgy too.

Stand in the middle of the woods surrounded by tall trees though and the mobile signal is excellent!
