Good morning Thursday

Postby Diflower » 05 Jul 2018, 05:15

Morning :)
Up with the steroid and the sunshine :)
Clear blue sky, sun just getting above the big tree at the back.

No appointments for me today, so a chance to catch up with the washing
Think I might make some fruit bread in the breadmaker, if I have all the stuff.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Di, morning everyone.

Up with the songbirds and sunshine. 8-) 8-)

Raul and Jim have already been here an hour cracking on with the painting...they're doing a great job. :D :D

I'll have a swim and then might, just might, think about what clothes to take for my epic UK trip tomorrow.  I still need to print off my boarding pass, train tickets and coach tickets.

Conor's coming over early evening to take his mammy and daddy out for a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Di, Ally and everyone

Sun just coming through the outgoing mist :D and should be a lovely day. Just looked at the weather for the next couple of months and we aren-t going to get a very hot summer. Hot, yes, but not super hot this year. Looking good for September too, when we have a visitor ;)

I will be spraying the rest of the weeds as soon as the grass dries and Grumpy will be digging a hole for the waste from the new shower room to go into the main drain down to the fossa.

Will try the bbq tonight.

Have a good day everyone whatever you are doing xx

Morning all :)

Up with the dog trying to chuck up, and sunshine

Di, fruit bread - yum! :Hi:

I love how cool and laid back you are about your travels Ally 8-) :D So looking forward to seeing you :D

Hot rather than super hot sounds good Jan :D 8-)

It's cloudy here but warm, and it will probably burn off before lunchtime - it certainly did yesterday :) Out in a while, for my walk, then up to see D. She ordered two new armchairs, one of which arrived yesterday, the other is due today. I arrived yesterday just in time to help unwrap it, and screw the legs in, then fold down the huge cardboard box it came in

Quite why it needed to be in a box I don't know :? I've told her not to try sorting the other on her own, if it arrives before I get there, but she probably will  :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all!

I was up with....the alarm :P

Billy's had his walk, I've watered the garden and done the ironing before it gets too hot. I think Tom will be having a lie in today. His shift yesterday ended up being 4pm-2am. I'm going to have a sort out for the charity shop and either today or tomorrow me and Tom will fill his car up with bits and bobs and drop them off at the Sue Ryder shop down by the little Tesco down the road. Shopping tonight and then a late walk with Billy. Last night's walk was so hot and humid at 9pm, we sat on the grass and watched the sunset though when we got to the top of the hill.

Have a good day all!

  Kaz....so far I've laid out 6 dresses and 2 pairs Converse.

That should see me right.

Looking forward to seeing you too. xx

I can cope with this super hot heat as a) I've lived here 15 years and b) anything strenuous gets done very early in the morning. (Unless I have one of my mad moments and decide to go for a run at 2pm   )

So I have no idea how these guys can paint in these temps but there they are, hats and radio on working away quite happily.

Good morning all.

Just been a walk to get my morning paper, and I'm glad to be back - it's so darned hot. Glad we've got an air conditioner.
Indoor pursuits for today!

Hope you are all O.K. and coping with this heat.

Morning all

Can't believe it's next week for the Brum meet - the time has flown by.

warm here today, but dull; not sure if the sun will get through the clouds. I really really was hoping for some rain today, but alas - it's not to be according to the forecast :(
Hope you all have a lovely day doing all the bits and bobs / pootlings you're up to

A usual / usual for me again ;)
