Having just the best time being with Jackie.

The weather is glorious and in 2 days I've amassed 5 books!

Being taken out to lunch to a place called the Hickory Smokehouse.

I'll probably snooze in the garden later.

A lovely morning, little hazy at the moment with a slight breeze.

Had a lie-in this morning

All the building work for the new bedroom is now complete so I'll move the rest of the blocks down to the next project. Grumpy is doing bits and bobs. The drains still need to be finished and the loo fitted. The beams are up, but not putting the tongue and groove up until after the rendering has been done. They make a heck of a mess when they're doing that.

I'll pootle inside with the cleaning, maybe

Another 100 lengths to be done in the pool later and half a chicken on the bbq later.

Hot, hot, hot

Sat outside all yesterday, we have two huge parasols so plenty of shade and luckily a gentle breeze. E watched the football, I knew when they scored, tbh I think the whole road did Will be sitting outside most of today, far too hot to do much else.

Good afternoon all.

It's extremely hot here - too hot for comfort, and very little breeze. Been a walk to the local shop, but pleased to be back home.
Glad we have an air conditioner to keep us cool..
