Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 11 Jul 2018, 04:09

Good morning.

Woke up just before 5am as I was in bed and asleep last night by 10.30.

Had a fabulous day yesterday. So lovely catching up with super VV friends - thanks for the banana sweets Jo and the book Kaz. You two have me sussed to a T.

I'm meeting my friend Cath today at noon and we are being ladies wot lunch at Glynn Purnells. The table has been booked for 60 days and was first discussed last September... its come round so quickly!

We're meeting up with other friends in Moseley late afternoon that I haven't seen for a couple of years... it'll be a late one then.

Hope you all have a great day. X

Dull, grey, dark, feels like rain

Glad you all had a good time yesterday :D :D

That's one place I'd love to go Ally, sure you'll have a fabulous meal.

Been up for an hour, done the watering - yes, even if it rains

Daughter sent a text at 6.45   good job I was up

Off tile hunting again this morning, then back to do the food shopping.

Will be down the bar later, for a couple of beers before the footie.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all; had such a lovely day yesterday. I have today off so treated myself to a bit of a lie in - up at 7.30am only ... bliss esp as I only got to bed just before midnight :D

Todays plans are to head to the vet with one of the cats in a bit, some shopping and then the rest of the day for much needed garden stuff that needs doing. So far it's quite cool but meant to warm up a bit - but a nice temperature to be working in

Di, good luck x

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Good luck Di. I hope the cat is OK Ria.

Nice morning here and supposed to warm up later. The front lawn is looking very dry. MrsC is off with her sister soon to see to their dad. Footie later.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all...I'm wishing it was yesterday again!

I walked Billy before popping down to town this morning. Tom went to work while I was shopping, I got home and was unpacking the bags when he walked back into the house. He hadn't been needed so was sent home. He got on the phone to Shannon though and has now gone to spend the day with her so it was a blessing in disguise, it must be difficult for them to go from living together to hardly seeing each other. Thankfully there isn't a huge distance between them, it's about a 45 minute drive and both now have cars which makes it easier.

I was shattered last night too. When John came home and it'd cooled enough to walk Billy we took him out for a 'quick' walk which turned into more than hour (it was getting dark when we got home) and I walked 11.7 miles yesterday.

Ally, I'll have to hunt down the pink shrimps for next time. I'm hooked on flying saucers at the moment

Our grass is so dry too, it crunches as you walk on it and as I walked off the close and onto the common this morning the trees were losing leaves like in Autumn. It actually looked like a sunny November day with the yellow leaves on the trees and on the ground. There's a distinct lack of bilberries on the common too, the bushes are completely dry :(

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, a noticeable drop in the temperature. It's supposed to get better again from Friday.

Good luck with the treatment Di xx

Glad you all had a lovely time yesterday in Brum, who was actually there this year?

E will be glued to the box again tonight, I'll probably peep over my kindle from time to time, fingers tightly crossed they do well.

We've had another nice lie in. After walking round the shops yesterday we'll be having a nice lazy day.

Have a good day :D
