Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 25 Jul 2018, 04:59

Good morning.

The lovely weather continues. :D

Once we've checked out of the hotel we'll have breakfast then do a last bit of shopping. Suffice to say we've taken full advantage of the 23kg luggage allowance.

Train back to mum and dad's and spend the rest of the day and evening with them. Mum's cooking steak with all the trimmings and she's made a lemon meringue pie. :D

Have a great day everyone. X

Morning :)
Blue sky, sunshine, hot...
Treatment day for me, after this only one to go!
A bit of washing, and we're going into town first to see if there are any shorts left for Bb.

Have a good day all

Morning all :D

Overcast and muggy at the moment, think we could be in for a storm later.

Managed 4 hours sleep last night, not great, but at least that bit was uninterrupted.

Enjoy time with your parents Ally.

Good luck with the treatment Di, glad there's just one more to go xx

Doctor at 9.30, physio at 1.30, doubt much else will be happening.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Mixed bag, weather wise this morning. Clouds, sun, blue sky, mist    But warm ish.

Good luck Di x Only one more to go, then breathe :D :D

Have a good day with the parentals Ally x

Hope the physio can sort you out Jen xx

Pootling day for me. Cleaning dust off - but that will be an on-going thing or the next few weeks  Grumpy is sat in the new room, just admiring the work and deciding what to do next. There is a looooong list

Must ring Heldar later, find out how much we need to pay him. I'll mention the word "cash" and hope we get a discount

Also need to pay Steve and Jacquie as they went to Iceland yesterday and bought us a load of sausages, bacon, cheese, cat treats :Hi: :Hi: So that needs to be sorted and put in the freezer.

Bangers and mash for dinner :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Have a lovely time with your mum and dad Ally, that meal sounds delicious :) xxx

Hope the treatment goes ok Di. You should be able to find shorts still, lots of sale rails about 8-) xx

Jan, I have a mental image of poor Grumpy, staring at his list!

Jen, it's been so hard to sleep, I do sympathise! Hope the appointments go well xx

Harry and I are going to see D today. We got him all the bits he needed yesterday in town, thankfully, so don't have to go again. It was full of overheated mums and kids - the heat was brutal - but we found a very cool corner of Coffee #1 for a drink. I had a glass of water and a decaff tea, Harry had a huge mint frappe, made with white chocolate, then proceeded to tip a pack of chocolate buttons into it! How he stays skinny and has no fillings I will never know :?

Have a good day everyone :) xxz

morning all

Ally enjoy the day - a perfect combination of everything; fun and family :D
Kaz, enjoy the time with H - how long is he with you?
Di, good luck with the treatment and roll on that last one for you xx good luck with the shorts shopping
Jen, 4 hours isn't a lot. I'm getting just over 6 per night but seldom more than 3 in one stretch. Good luck with your appointmetns
Saundra, usually I water the pots once a week but with this weather it's every 2nd day if not every day - some more than others. I'm just keeping fingers and toes crossed we don't end up with a hosepipe ban because i don't fancy carrying that many watering cans about every night. Although nothing stopping me from taking the hosepipe to the tubs and filling up the watering cans there on the spot :D
Jan, hope you get all your bits sorted. I feel for you with the dusting - Nadine is going through the same thing with their extension being built; there's just no getting on top of it is there. Poor Grumpy, I can imagine him with that list - he probably looked like Atlas with the world on his shoulders sitting there looking at the list :D :D

Usual usual for me. Was meant to drop off my car last night for it to be serviced today, but (thankfully) I called to confirm arrangements and it turns out they hadn't arranged the loan car for me; it was noted in the booking but nothing more done - doh! So now they're collecting from home and dropping off on Friday - which suits me just fine :D

Have a lovely day all x

Ria only another day or so, he has plans for the weekend. I was hoping he would stay longer, but am glad he's getting out and about with his friends. Lucky you checked on the car! :o 8-) xxx

Shame Kaz, but nice that he's busy rather than bored I guess.
Missions accomplished here :)
Shorts for him (full price) and for me, some longish smart ones.
And a pair of rather nice red crops.
And Osc's vest top posted :)
Early lunch then off to the hospital.

Good afternoon all, I've been getting jobs done before it gets too warm.

John's gone to the Sunderland area for a meeting and won't be back until tomorrow night, Tom's in work until 8pm tonight. I'll walk Billy again tonight, it'll be a late one though as it's still so hot in the evenings.

Have a good day all!
