Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 28 Jul 2018, 05:08

Good morning.

Scorchio. 8-) 8-)

Yesterday in Murcia it was 52 degrees. I remember when we went to Seville in 2007 and it was reading 51 degrees and thinking how hot can it get!! :o

It's time to dust off my trainers and go for a run after 3 weeks of over indulging.

A swim when I get home then lazing by the pool with my book. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
52 degrees
It's cooler and fresher this morning, rather nice, still blue sky and sunshine.

No plans, Bb will be working and calling in for shopping, I will be choosing a new book to read :)
Hope you all have a good day

Morning All, Di and everyone

Not that hot here, but pleasant to work in 8-)

Done all the watering, Grumpy putting second coats of sealer on so is hoping to be able to put first coat of paint on today or tomorrow :Hi: :Hi: He has to crack on, as the lady we bought the furniture from rang yesterday, wanting to deliver it. We negotiated another 2 weeks ;) Even if the shower room tiles or even the plumbing second fix done, we can at least put the furniture in :Hi: :Hi:

I'll get the cleaning done before it gets too hot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

A few clouds but the sun's out and it's hot already. We had a thunder storm with a heavy downpour yesterday evening, interfered with the satellite signal for a while, but didn't last long. Rained steadily for the rest of the evening and overnight. Hasn't made much difference to the temperature though.

Bit of a restless night, managed about 5 hours sleep interrupted by having to get up a couple of times.

Getting ready for the invasion. They're due in to Ramsgate station around 11.15 this morning. We'll meet them at the harbour, always a good excuse to visit Sorbetto for ice cream. Afterwards we'll get the bus back here and they can take a leisurely walk along the beach. Fingers crossed it stays nice and dry.

Did think about getting the BBQ out, but decided to lay a hot/cold spread out on the table, less hassle for me tbh.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Progress, Jan! It is much fresher here today.

MrsC is at our daughters. Daughter and her husband are going to York races today and won't be back until tonight. So on the one hand I'm at liberty today but on the other MrsC is in for a very long day. Son in laws parents are coming round to help but there has been an issue there.

I'm not happy about it. You help out yes, but to me this is taking the proverbial.

Right, onwards and upwards (to Sainsbury's!).

Morning all,
Had heavy rain, thunder and lightning for a while last night.
Very windy this morning and nice and fresh.
Son, Dil and the two terrors are off to Florida today.
They stayed overnight at the airport hotel so they didn't have to rush
to get the flight but Sods Laws --the flight has been delayed till 1.30pm and
no reason given!!! They have booked a villa for their stay and it looks lovely.

I hope they get away ok as the boys will be getting impatient.

Morning all, it's wet and miserable here with the current temperature only 11degrees   I hate it
We had a bit of a lie on this morning and will have our showers later. Going into town this evening to meet friends for something to eat, hopefully the rain will have stopped as is forecast, because we are going by public transport.

Crommers, the whole grandparent babysitting thing can be fraught  and it is tiring. In all honesty I would not wish to be jointly babysitting with the other grandparents :? Lissie, that villa looks gorgeous!
