Temps set to be in the mid 40's again. 8-)

A swim after my coffee then another lazy day by the pool. :D :D

TV tonight and something with salad for dinner.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely morning, just hope that wind stays away. Made it feel quite cool yesterday :(

Grumpy will be putting the first top coat of paint on the inside walls today :Hi: I will be hacking at the undergrowth around the mimoso tree stump.

BBQ later, probably the last one until it cools down a bit.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Rain. And gale force wind. And rain. Lots and lots of rain.
I had got nicely used to the heat and sunshine.

Today will be spent indoors, wondering what to do...definitely need to choose a new book!
And to find something in the freezer for dinner, unless Bb fancies a good drenching.

It does look like only today for most of the rain though.

Hope you all manage to have a good day

Son and family finally got to Florida. They were 3 hours late leaving Gatwick due to adverse
weather over Europe. When they finally arrived the plane had to circle for over half hour as
there was heavy thunderstorms and couldn't risk it.
Hopefully it will be ok now for them.
Blowing a hooley here and trying to rain and quite cold.

Good morning all, I'm loving the change in temperature :Hi: We have lots of much-needed rain and it's very windy too.

Going into Birmingham this afternoon and Shannon's coming over at some point. She's staying tonight and then she, Tom and Joe are off to Wales tomorrow. That's the plan anyway, she's got a problem with her shoulder and has been in a lot of pain this week so is hoping she can manage to drive today.

Have a good day all!

Morning all...….almost :D

Dull and overcast with rain on and off, so glad Z and the boys came yesterday. Just as well I decided against a BBQ, we had gale force wind late afternoon. Opened all the windows and the patio doors and let it blow through the house for a while, it's the coolest it's been indoors for weeks, lovely.

Glad you had a good night Saundra, I slept well too. Makes such a difference getting decent sleep.

Both the ankle and hip playing up today so, although I'd rather not, I've taken a couple of painkillers this morning. The GP said it wouldn't hurt and it seems silly to struggle when it's extra sore. No plans for today, intend to be extremely lazy.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, we woke to rain, and I heard it during the night also, but it has stopped now - still full cloud though. Like Di, I had got very used to sunshine and warmth and really dislike this return to our normal Irish summer :x We had a nice meal out with friends last night, and a good catch up, we had gone on the bus but thankfully did not get wet.

We've been practising some of our dances this morning, we do so much sequence dancing now that we found we were forgetting our ballroom routines. We are going to Blackpool next Friday week (Ryanair permitting  ) so we want to be able to do all our dances. Nothing particular planned for the rest of the day. Roast pork for dinner.
