Lovely and cool at the moment - and rather grey - but it will get warmer later

Grumpy will be out putting the first top coat on the outside walls - when he gets up that is I will vacuum the floor, ready for tiling

After breakfast, off to Castro Verde. Need to buy some tiles for the tops of the walls, also need some cheques. We have to buy them and get them through the cashpoint They are only valid for a year and the minimum is 5. So we'll go and apologise to the furniture lady, for keeping her waiting so long, pay them and arrange delivery next week . When we collect the shower room tiles, I'll pay that by cheque. And look in Wortens, for tv prices and sizes.

Back home for a dive into the pool

Craft and chat this morning, apart from a phone appt nothing else on, so will wait and see how I feel.

Need Steve to come up and do stuff, but he's doing some work at home too, so trying to fit it all in.

Julia has ordered the bedspreads for me, so I'll send her some money today, to cover it. I've got the curtains, from our old house but will need a curtain pole. Not having shutters, yet

A nice walk into town I think, for a few minutes in the cooking box for my psoriasis, then up to see D at lunchtime I have a dermatologist appointment at the hospital next Wednesday - I hope they can help, my poor legs are so itchy it's almost painful!

We have another store room planned, a couple more paths and then when all the sand has gone by the car-port, I'll get more gravel and make that look better. It's scrub land at the moment

Then I've got to get something sorted down by the gate (plants of some sort) and the last job will be new tiles in the old shower room.

Morning all

Jan, I so can't wait to see it all - it'll be so so different to last year!
We had rain again early this morning - yipppeeee - but the air has a bit of a nippy chill to it still - meant to warm up though once the sun breaks through.

Usual / usual for me. Will go past the allotment on the way home but given the rain we've had I won't need to water, but will be good to check on the status of things. Have loads (and I mean LOADS HUGE GINORMOUS) of marrow / squash that need something doing with.
