I felt a little bit sick Jan at the thought of you being dewormed.

We regularly got dewormed as kids - growing up in SA it was normal for all animals and humans (esp kids) in the household to have a worming tablet every 6 months or so. Obviously different ones for humans vs animal but still.

And as you obviously know, Ria, in Germany they have inspectabogs so that you can have a good old look at what is going on or coming out!

I was lead to believe it is because they eat a lot of air-cured hams and sausages such as Rauchschinken, Mettwurst and Landjaeger.

Really, I often have wondered why they ever were designed / whoever thought that design was a good one. They're quite grim
