Afternoon all, I woke up full of energy this morning, I was hanging out washing at 8.15! It was really lovely then, warm and sunny, so I suggested to Mr Osc that we go for a walk before breakfast, and before the tourist hordes descended. It was so quiet and peaceful down at the harbour and we really enjoyed our walk. While we were having breakfast, it clouded over so we got the best of the sunshine although it might return later. It is a bank holiday weekend here, although it doesn't make much difference to us.

I've had a try on of what clothes I want to bring to Blackpool on Friday, have to plan carefully as we will just have carry on bags. I need to phone a restaurant there to book for Friday night, so I will do that today. There is the ever present ironing, I "might" do some of it. Ireland is playing Spain in the semi-final of the hockey world cup, Mr Osc will watch it and I will read and watch - I played hockey (badly) in school and can't remember how it works

I have a 2010 plate i10 which is high, I love it :D Good luck on the car hunt, Cromwell!

Lovely sunny day here, slight breeze. It's a funny weekend this one, we should be at the van but I'm not - loooong story. So instead, I've been to town and basically had a normal Friday but on Saturday! Tom's away till Tuesday now, so I will have a lot of 'me' time 8-)

Jen and Kyle have gone to Leeds today, a friend of theirs turned 30 and they are having a whiz round the famous Otley Run, basically a pub crawl of 16 pubs in fancy dress!!! The remit was the letter P, (the friend is called Pip) so Jen had made an outfit for herself based on a can of Pepsi! She had even made a silver bag in the shape of the ring pull can lid! She didn't nick the logo - hers was Pipsi!  Kyle was in hippy gear, he came as 'Peace' and another girlfriend was a tub of popcorn - they'll have been quite the sight at the train station!

Enjoy the remainder of Saturday if you can - and a Happy birthday to Becky!! Sounds like she has been well spoilt - good for her!! 8-) xxx
